A good friend of mine went Game 6 in KC in full Giant regalia as was treated like an honored guest by the home town fans. He said he never once bought his own beer and took more pics with his new KC buds than he could count. Hat tip to the class act that is KC.
Reverse that and it’s quite possible that funeral arrangements would have been necessary.
Absolutely. That is the America I love and the America I want back.
I’m in Omaha and was thinking of trying to fork out for tickets and make one of the games in KC. I didn’t think even for one second about any problems wearing a Giants shirt at KC’s park as I’m a Giants fan and I know the Royals fans are by and large nice people. I’ve been to some of the games of the Royals’ minor league team here, the Stormchasers. I go to the Dog Nights and bring my female Borzoi. She always gets the stares as she’s easily the cutest pup in the park.
However, there is no way I’d wear a Giants shirt in LA at a Giants/Dodgers game. Dodger fans are pretty mean these days in certain parts of the park.
During some of the player interviews after the game, I noticed the lights on the stadium fountains were changed to orange. Classy.

You’ll get the same treatment in St. Louis too. Great people. Humbling to be in their presence.
Nebraska football is like that too. Standng O’s for the away team as they take the field, and as they leave.
The coasts of this country are gangrenous. It’s as if they should be cut away.
