I know baseball doesn't occupy the same level of pre-eminence that it may have had fifty years ago, but it is the championship, and it still a great game. Royals up 3-0 in the sixth. Great defense all around.
Burp! It’s about the only time I have a beer or two. Yes, it’s a great game.
There’s something special about October baseball. Maybe I will have one with you ;^)
I still love my baseball. Watching and enjoying the game. Go KC! (I’m a hardcore D-Backs fan with no love for LA or SF).
I’m rooting for the Giants who have been a surprise throughout the playoffs. But so has KC. Neither the Giants nor KC were supposed to make it out of the Wild Card Game.
Although I’m rooting for the Giants, I like KC. They’re fun to watch. Fast and lights out “Three-Amigos” bullpen.
Ditto, I’ll call you on that and up you one. Cheers......
Thanks. Watching.
I am watching in spurts as dvr runs ahead so we can skip the political commercials in other programing. Wisconsin baseball fan for KC
Oh, no, you don’t want to get into a beer drinking competition with me. Believe me, no one wins. lol
1981 Dodger Stadium, Game 5 - I was there
Yanks won first two in NY
Ron Guidry has Dodgers down 1-0 into bottom of 7th
Then back to back homers from Guerrero and Yeager...absolutely incredible moments
Dodgers win 2-1 and then close out the Series the next day
Giants score in the bottom of the sixth. 3-1, Royals, call to the bullpen.
Go Royals!
Even though my Dad played for the Giants, I’m rooting for KC and Marlins Man.
Baseball is the greatest game ever invented, a thinking man’s game. No wonder it has lost favor in a nation of idiots who voted for Obama, watch mindless and vulgar TV shows, watch boring basketball where one thug dribbles the ball one way then another another way, or watch boring soccer where a ball is kicked one direction (no hands allowed), then kicked another direction. If a sport is dumb and fast it will be popular. Obama voters like soccer because it is a “global” sport.
LET’S GO GIANTS!!!
Strike year. Yeah, I remember. Die hard Yankee fan here (shielding myself with my arms). Only series appearance for the Pinstripes in the 80’s. They have been there at least once a decade since the 1920’s. Of course we a nearly halfway through this decade...
are. It’s a beer thing...
What’s a World Series?
I would not argue with a single syllable of your post.
Giants score twice in the bottom of the sixth, 3-2 Royals. Of course, if you are getting your information about the world series from this thread, you probably still have a rotary phone.
