Sounds like a good start....
None of them would be deal breakers for me. I have directive BTW.
If they dump CNN are they keeping MSNBC? Can’t see how that channel survives.
There is nothing on television. Why people pay to pipe garbage into their homes is beyond me.
We removed DISH network about three years ago.
Paying for propaganda is more than a waste of money.
watching a rerun of Emergency on Me Tv good stuff
I have Dish and will not miss any of them. I didn’t get Turner Classic Movies but if I did, that would be the one thing I would miss.
Yes switch — that’s what I did and no regrets.
But find a friend oe relatie who has it so they can get the $10 (?) credit on their bill.
And then their stock went up.
They'll both play hardball with each other for a week and then everything will be back.
They better get those cartoon channels back %#**#%^*ing soon or else!!! We love the dish hoppers and joeys. But my little boy with special needs is home sick and today of all days, they dropped his two favorite channels, boomerang and Cartoon Network. Say what???? NOOOOOOOO!
Wow! They removed CNN? I’d hate to lose the Turner Classic Movie channel, though.
TCM is the only loss of the bunch.
No.
Call Dish and tell them you fully support their efforts to stick it to the program providers in order to keep your bill down. While you're at it, tell Dish that they should force Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network to pay Dish to be in their lineup. Those two channels should subsidize truly meaningful content providers.
We used to have Direct TV and they dropped stations so MrD insisted we drop Direct TV. We did and in a few months Direct TV got those stations back. Oh well!
I’m all for competition.
Satellite TV and Radio are doomed eventually, but for now I would proceed based on available station preference.
Direct TV is a ripoff too, pretty soon all programming will be streamed.
Um, what in your right mind ever caused you to select Dish over Directv in the first place?
Do they still have the YES Network?
TCM is the only one on that list to watch.
Programming suppliers like Turner/Time-Warner are demanding ever higher “carriage fees” forcing satellite/cabe providers to raise rates. These programming fee contract fights are becoming common...the channels you mention will probably return within a month, take a break from the Clintoon News Network! ;-) You would probably pay more for DirecTV (after the 24 mo. “promo” period..my nothing special, no HBO, etc, DirecTV package is $119.00/mo.
