The protocol works in Dallas, but health worker breaches protocol and contracts disease.
No, of course not, because we have it under control.
Oh, wait, Heroic Health Worker Becomes Second U.S. Ebola Case:
"A Texas health care worker who cared for Liberian Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan at a Dallas hospital has tested positive for the disease, hospital officials said Sunday. The worker became infected despite wearing full protective gear while treating Duncan, who later died from the disease, during his second visit to the hospital.
If the preliminary diagnosis is confirmed by the Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, it would be the first known case of the disease being contracted or transmitted in the U.S."
That health care worker is a heroic person who provided care to Mr. Duncan, Dallas Judge Clay Jenkin said at a news conference Sunday morning....

There’s no reason to believe the sick nurse did not follow protocol...They want us to believe she didn’t follow protocol because if she did, we’re all in a heap of trouble...
I have found that usually the guy who is first to volunteer in “I’m in-charge here” line usually ain’t.
This libnut guy has a history of grandstanding while trying to swallow his foot.
But it will be brutal to the homeless and the poor, who are less sanitary than average. A lot of thw cases in Africa are due to crowded lines of people waiting outside hospitals and clinics. The healthcare professionals get fatigued and therefore prone to error.
So people dying from plagues are those spared the worst before Christ comes? Is that it?!!!
He’s the chief executive of Dallas County or some such.
Bump.
Feel free to panic if you want. The rest of us will discuss the situation, compare notes, read between the lines of government lies, and go about our day to day jobs. Panic no. Thoughtfulness yes. Besides the subject is interesting as hell!
I’ll certainly buy the heroic label for the healthcare workers who brave an imperfect protocol to care for patients both here and in West Africa. Depoliticize CDC and concentrate on protecting citizens and healthcare workers. It’s way beyond time to glorify and support the suicidal Obama ideology.
I don’t understand why obola just doesn’t draw a red line and make it stop.
Are those nurses ordered to take care of these Ebola patients, or do they volunteer? I would quit before I would help them.
</S>
And as you can see... Duncan’s family are very appreciative of all the Drs and Nurses who put themselves in harms way to try and save his life.
I have a sinking feeling a good number of those sent on their way saying the test was negative are ging to find out the early tests are frequently false negatives.
Sorry. : D
If his family utters another peep about discrimination, they should every one be immediately deported back to Liberia. I would not hesitate....
Oh and Obola's new CDC screening procedures AT "SELECTED" AIRPORTS include a questionnaire asking these people:
"Are you infected with Ebola, yes or no?"
Who in their right mind would believe ANYTHING ANY OF THESE PEOPLE FLYING FROM HIGHLY INFECTED AREAS HAVE TO SAY WHEN ANSWERING Obola's CDC questions?
Yea, these new Obola CDC screening procedures are totally reassuring given the fact that the first ILLEGAL ALIEN who flew to America for treatment KNEW THAT HE HAD EBOLA AND L I E D WHEN HE WAS ASKED ESSENTIALLY THE SAME QUESTIONS!
NOT!
The gloves are OK, I guess, but you'll never keep the rest down if it were even going to do any good.
There's every reason to believe she didn't follow protocol and/or had defective or incomplete gear. The main reason is laws of physics.
They are professionals and they take care of sick people. Glad you aren't a nurse.
