All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

Happy New Year,ColdOne. :)
Afternoon, ArGee. It’s about to be Naptime here.
Some people that live near me got some snow today.
I wish I could claim I’ve been napping.
Where did the day go?
(Is it racist to day daygo? Seems to me I remember something about that when I was a kid.)
We just had cold.
Nap fail. Kathleen wouldn’t go to sleep. That means she’s going to be increasingly impossible until she can be put to bed for the night.
Only if you are referring to a certain type of hen. Like maybe a Guinea Hen... ;-)
Busdaddy and I went to Walmart to get a new, smaller shirt to wear with his suit, then to Kmart to pick up a prescription, and on the way home, we saw a plethora of police lights on MANY cars, blocking the street he normally turns on to go home.
Come to find out, it was a police helicopter that went down in the middle of the street about 100 yards from here. Two officers were aboard, both have been transported, and no injuries on the ground. Of course it will be a while before the cause will be known, but ya gotta hand it to the officers to minimize the collateral damage.
Busdaddy is packing now, and will mentally re-pack four or five times by the time he has to leave tomorrow. He goes to LA for three hours, then has a non-stop to Boston.
So far, he is dealing with it quite well.
Food!
Off to Mass, will pray for all of you.
Thanks from all of us.
Why, yes it is. And I even included a recipe... ;-)
No, it is descriptive.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Nappy Yew Hear!
I’m still CST, those of you on the other side of the dateline...
Skal!
What time is it?
Depends on where you are... ;-)
And then there is Zulu.
Moosie's got that covered...
