I take it you never saw that bit about Islamic contriubtions to society? The one where in the early 1800s they discovered the use of sheep entrals as a condom, and then in the late 1800s they learned it also works if you take them out of the sheep?

Sorry for my weak contributions to today’s chatter. We’re seeing that we need to reduce scope to hit our deadline and that’s caused a lot of four letter words to fly.
Most of them are ‘work.’

I thought that muslims used goats for those--uh--purposes. The more I learn about them, the more I publicize their "contributions." It's only right. Thanks for the heads-up.
BTW, you are an absolutely delightful person and I missed you lots while you were MIA. When NNB, T-c, NoC and Darks aren't around, I sink into the doldrums, too.

Doldrums? Are those those big drums they used in “Riverdance?”

I was going to do some chimney-sweeping today. I had found out that the furnace wasn’t breathing properly.
The chimney-sweeping process begins at the bottom, but in my clumsiness, I accidentally broke a water pipe.
So I had to repair that, and my chimney-sweeping will have to be finished up tomorrow. There’s cold weather a-comin’.

Ive been to London....I've been to London too, in the 1960's. It's about halfway between Detroit and Toronto... I must have been there out of season because I never did see the famous London fog.
Did you know that the Thames, which flows through London, empties into Lake St. Clair? And that a sea lion escaped from the London Zoo, swam down the Thames and was cavorting in the waters of Lake Erie before finally being picked up in the waters near Sandusky, Ohio? Of course, that was over 50 years ago... It's true. I of course was much younger then.

Good morning. Happy Veterans’ Day!
The Scouts had a flag-retirement ceremony last night. Sons of the American Revolution were there.

I love your little poppy.
Check out Bing today. A beautiful picture of the Tower of London and all the poppies in remembrance of those who died in WW I.
