All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

Mark Twain Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.
Mark Twain was a grump.
” Do you sometimes want to tell people, “What an annoying jerk you are. Dont you really hate yourself, deep down?”
What a coincidence! I found myself saying that very thing to a guy who lives in a nearby city, just a few days ago! “
I’m leaving my house right now, and I’m comin to git you, sucka!
I know where he lives ...
He knows too.
Have you ever considered, that everyone who passes in front of your house knows where you live?
I'll pick up a six-pack or two. Anything else you'd like?
What a cheerful thought. I’d rather remember how close I am to spiders. There’s at least one right over there behind the piano.
LOL!
Egg roll.
I like to keep a lamp on in the kitchen. Since passing insects are drawn to it, spiders tend to set up camp in its vicinity.
This keeps down the population of passing insects, and the spiders seem content with the arrangement.
Occasionally, my wife disturbs the scene, but the spiders appear to take this in good stride, perhaps considering that their webs were getting dusty anyway. They simply spread new material out.
Some spiders are quite artistic in this display, but to truly appreciate it, you have to be able to see in ultraviolet light. This probably explains why many people do not appreciate them.
We had to remove an orb weaver yesterday. She was setting up to obstruct our front door.
Elen put her in the shrubbery.
I tried once again to get the TV in the bedroom to work, but all I can get is the Blu-Ray, and that’s not good enough. There is only one co-ax hook-up on the Blu-Ray, and two sets of colored “Gazintas” and two HDMI hook-ups.
I have the HDMI between the TV and the Blu-ray, after trying and giving up on the color-coded cable, and have the co-ax from the living room hooked to the TV. “No Signal” is what I keep getting, so I’m wondering if I should call Cox *shudder* and find out what’s wrong, besides Operator Error.
No problem. There's a carry-out restaurant just a few minutes away.
Bring your reading glasses. I have stories you haven't encountered yet.
I try to get rid of dust because when the wind blows, my lungs act like a vacuum cleaner and I end up on the nebulizer with a vial of nitroglycerin spray in my hand.
It sounds as though you have a single output device connected to a single input device. This will work, but only as long as each is doing only one thing.
What you need is a way to select a second source and display it. This should be a TV function, but the way you have it, you need the Blu-Ray to do it, and it doesn’t wanna.
Ia! Ia! Cox Support Fhtagn!
Pretty much..
The cable might “need” to go into some box first, depends on how the cable gets there to begin with.
If there’s a cable box elsewhere, then the cable might not be hooked to that before heading into that room, OR it is broken somewhere along the line.
I didn’t understand a word of that, but I don’t mind. I hope you get it sorted out!
“Don’t glue gloves onto your hands, Frank. That would be stupid.”
“Oh, it would?”
“Yes. And you know that ‘Don’t do anything stupid,” is one of our rules.”
“I remember. That’s part of the Scout Law!”
“For SCIENCE!! *thunderclap*”
