Jamie says hey back.
Back from the errand, and feeling beat up.
(No Pink Drink this time.)
I can help...
I don’t have any pink drink, either, but I’ve reheated some coffee.
I will settle for water, for now.
Tomorrow is another doctor appointment and though I don’t really want to go, I need a prescription and a referral. It’s always something... *sheesh*
Meanwhile, I’m crocheting because my fingers need to be busy.
Just ate one of Mickey’s jalapeno doubles. I’m still nodding off but my mouth is awake.
I’m making the Cuban Bean Dish.
Meow
I’ve missed my kitty friends here,
Hope everyone is well. Feline fine? I’m still pretty sick but home, and on a decent Internet again, so having fun reading archives,
I’ll be active more and more as I feel better, I’m just getting over pneumonia so I feel like something in kitties box.
Welcome BACK! *HUG*
I won’t pry because it isn’t polite, but I have been curious. And I have missed your posts! I’m so glad to know you are on the mend!
Pneumonia is nothing to sneeze at. You rest when you need to and let everything else take care of itself. We NEED you here!
:o])
I had a rather large meat and cheese sandwich for lunch, so my supper will probably consist of crackers and cheese or a hard boiled egg and fruit, but I am determined to lose LOTS of weight in the next week. I may have to buy more lettuce, though...
I keep waiting for an email from WW telling me my three months are over and that I need to pay up or die. I suspect I will be actively working on this diet for at least the next six months, if not the rest of my life.
I have a pretty cool cookbook, but the problem is being able to stand long enough for the food preparation. As long as I’m moving, the spinal arthritis isn’t so bad, but standing to cook or do dishes is like slave labor.
There isn’t enough Ibuprofen to eliminate THAT kind of paid with one dosage.
So glad you're here!
Awwww....
Poor Bill is trying to register for the spring semester and finding many classes are full the first day. He didn’t realize how fast it would go, he said. He’ll probably be wait-listed for some classes and pick up a seat when someone drops ... like flying standby on U.S. Air.
After the initial panic and cursing, he’s calmed down enough to go do his hair.
It’s always Good Morning Kitten time somewhere.
Poor Bill. Always a day late and a dollar short. He can’t say his mother didn’t warn him.
I’m sure his hair needs doing...how stressful to realize the world isn’t waiting Just For Him.
At Central Piedmont, you had a few days before classes filled, not an hour. Learning experiences ...
I think I’m going to check on freecycle.com for cat supplies. One never knows what is out there!
Once that is done, all I have to do is make sure the adoptions from the shelters are free, and I can bring my BP down... :O]
Of course, the deposit is the stickler but I will figure out a way to get it done. Landlords are supposed to waive the deposit for medical reasons, so we will see what happens.
Maybe get a note from your doctor in advance.
I will see her tomorrow and ask. It’s the least I can do.
Hey I never really thought about it before, but how did Han Solo get teamed up with Chewbacca?
Chewie wasn’t a shelter rescue, was he?
Somehow I don’t see him being able to lower your blood pressure.
