Any stories of Obama buyer's remorse?

Posted on 10/05/2014 8:12:48 AM PDT by eekitsagreek

I bring this up because I know someone who was swept away with Obamamania back in 2008. She said she was impressed with how well he spoke and thought this would be the guy to steer the country in the right direction.

Well guess what, she has been affected by Obamacare with rising costs, and she is not happy about it. She also now is worried about the lack of leadership in him when it comes to world affairs.

She thinks that she has made a big mistake in voting for him. I have to admit that I have been giving her a hard time about her voting for him twice. I basically told her that it is ignorant people like her that has put this country in trouble by voting for idiots like Obama.

Just wondering if anyone else has a story of someone who has now regretted voting for Obama.

My mom in law now only says - “It was God’s Will.” I laughed at her and told her no , “it was your will.” Just like a liberal to blame someone else.

I know two who had buyers remorse after voting for him in ‘08. Four years later, they lied about it at first but it finally came out that they voted for him a second time.

I've said before that I live in a region of Pennsylvania that is almost exclusively liberal Democrat. Only have one real life friend who is a “closet conservative.” If certain people found out he is a conservative, his life could become a living hell.

However, in my family, my brother and my aunt, both staunch Democrats, have expressed disillusionment with Obama and his cohorts. Mostly, it's about Obamacare, although my aunt, a devout Catholic, has become alarmed over the corruption, sin and depravity fostered and encouraged by this administration. Her traditional values and beliefs are being undermined and ridiculed, and she is concerned about the persecution of Christians in the US.

However, I can't be sure that, come election day in November and in 2016, they will not vote Democrat again. So many people around here vote by habit or tradition — “my parents voted Democrat, so I have to vote Democrat.” They also get caught up in emotions. In 2008, they voted for the first black president. They are likely in 2016 to vote for the first woman president. They think with organs other than their brains.

I'd be happier if in 2016, we had a true conservative to vote for. Two liberals presents no distinguishable choice. A real conservative could persuade traditional Democrats to vote for someone in line with their spiritual beliefs.

As far as I’m concerned anyone who voted for Obama can’t do anything to redeem themselves.

Too many people hate to admit they were completely fooled and used.

Remorse over the lack of McCain amnesty or expanded RomneyCare?

Two Republican party nominations of awful candidates is where there should be remorse, and nothing has been done to fix the primary system that continues to favor liberal candidates on both sides.

It seems that several people in the TEA party voted for Obama and that’s why the TEA party surged at its founding. They either didn’t vote at all or they voted for him and quickly regretted it.

The kinds of people who would fall for this can’t be expected to repent of their ways.

Why do so many who voted for him have no regrets?
It’s easy to call them stupid or hopeless followers, but think about why they continue to vote Democrat. Somebody has to examine it because Reince Prebius sure isn’t doing anything.

Idiot liberals rarely speak of being an idiot. It is against their unholy code.

They are the smart ones.

Unfortunately, it may take years before we feel the damage of what he has done to this country. The employer mandate of Obamacare hasn't hit yet. And the full penalties for not complying with Ocare and pain will not hit for a couple more years. And a shortage of doctors, poorer quality care, only the rich can afford the best care, etc.

And, no carbon tax for Global Warming, yet. But it is in the works.

I was shocked to hear my brother in law go off on obama. His fury is central to the handling of Russia and the far reaching consequences. Sadly, he still believes obamacare will be fine. He is in for a rude awakening. Can’t come fast enough if you ask me.

A couple of people I know have become vocal with their disappointment in him, but as usual, give the tired old line of ‘all politicians lie.’ I reject that on it’s face, thought I know it to be true, it’s such a lame excuse for their idiotic decision to vote for this disaster.
