The man with the first case of Ebola diagnosed in the U.S. went to hospital feeling sick only to be given antibiotics and be sent home.
It was not until two days later that the man was admitted to the Dallas hospital and put in isolation, it has been reported.
It raises the frightening prospect that he was mixing freely with other people for a full two days while showing symptoms of the virus - the time when Ebola is most contagious.
The unidentified patient has been in isolation

One of the Nigerian medicos that later became infected got it from touching a doorknob.
Very scary.
Beat the rush. If this gets as out of control people are going to be pretty xenophobic.
We’ve heard when he came into the country.
What we do NOT know is when he flew from Dulles to DFW.
If he stayed with friends in DC for a day or two and then reboarded and went through security there on, say, the 23rd when he may have already been feeling under the weather...
then those TSA agents that grope hundreds of people’s genitals with the SAME pair of gloves (and don’t you DARE suggest they use a fresh pair for you or you’ll get the hose!) could have easily spread it to the next dozen or more people in the security line after him.

One of the most difficult activities for health care workers is getting out of the PPE without getting infected/contaminated.
I had considered local hospitals and had come to the same conclusion: most cannot handle this without losing a lot of personnel, and downplaying the disease will only get people killed.
It is not likly he was given antibodics. It is likly he was given a script for antibodics and went to walmart 2 miles away or CVS a 1/2 mile away to fill it. He might have even stopped in the Dave and Busters across the street for a beer and a quick game.....
Good question. I didn't see that part.
I am an RN, too. I agree 100% with you. People, do not put your faith in our medical facilities...they are not adequately prepared. I work in a doctor’s office. One of the doctors in our office thinks preparing for ebola is a joke. Before long there won’t be any bleach or gloves in the stores. Don’t wait.
I get hangnails.
Cloward-Piven Airlines.
Only in the sense of strengthening immune response.
Maybe a strong immune system could help one fight it off or lessen the severity.
The Sultan of Evil
When I went to the medical pharmacy yesterday to buy masks, the pharmacy rep looked at my purchases and told me that he expects to be sold out of those products shortly, because of Ebola. Then I told him that was the precise reason why I was buying them.
