Thank you!
“Estacionamento” was the word used in Chile.
“Aparcamento” sounds like some gringo making up words.
I missed this post earlier - very funny!
LOL, I missed it, too. He’s breaking all kinds of stereo-types.
I keep reminding myself that email is no longer private. LOL Big bro is reading.
Once when my 1st husband and I were on the way to visit a friend working for an American company in Torreon, going through Monterrey we drove by a bunch of used car lots with “autos usados” signs-but one enterprising owner decided to be different-that sign said “autos semi-nuevos”, which awe thought was pretty funny...
A lot of words in this dialect spoken in Northern Mexico/Southern Texas are a mix of Spanish and English-that is why it is called Texmex...
Looks like they found the dwelling place of a certain “wan” type:

I have seen “semi-nuevo.” In Mexico.
I’d never seen it before then-that was in the late 70’s-and I’ve only seen it a time or two since.
Private e-mail is now an oxymoron...
lol...
Van Halen closed out side one with ‘I’m the Wan”...(track 5)
