“Estacionamento” was the word used in Chile.

“Aparcamento” sounds like some gringo making up words.

Once when my 1st husband and I were on the way to visit a friend working for an American company in Torreon, going through Monterrey we drove by a bunch of used car lots with “autos usados” signs-but one enterprising owner decided to be different-that sign said “autos semi-nuevos”, which awe thought was pretty funny...

A lot of words in this dialect spoken in Northern Mexico/Southern Texas are a mix of Spanish and English-that is why it is called Texmex...
