The '70s nearly had their own Blue Ivy Carter, Stevie Nicks has confirmed. The Fleetwood Mac singer/songwriter recently talked with Billboard about her upcoming 24 Karat Gold LP, and was asked about a comment made by her ex-paramour (and fellow '70s megastar) Don Henley of the Eagles. Henley had said that Nicks had gotten pregnant with his baby, and that Sara (later the name of a Mac top-ten hit) was the name she had given the unborn child. Nicks corroborated the important part of that story:
Had I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara. But there was another woman in my life named Sara, who shortly after that became Mick's wife, Sara Fleetwood.
The idea of Nicks and Henley maybe the two most famous members of the two most famous American rock bands of the late '70s having a child is kind of a crazy one. It would've been a tumultuous upbringing to say the least, but just imagine the smooth, California-inflected and overwhelmingly bitter songwriting DNA that kid would've had. John Mayer would kneel in worship, certainly.
Your Family and your friends are privileged to know you.I am your contemporary. We have lived in interesting and challenging times. Pray for another contemporary and friend of mine named M who made this mistake once and was never pregnant again. She is, when last I knew still an atheist, despite a Catholic upbringing. I am sorry that some here have seen fit to abuse you for charity and honesty.
I’m so sorry. If I remember correctly, this was the little guy kicking off the side of his pool. :(
Condolences to you and your husband. :’(
You are right. Doc said it was a rare situation as there were no genetic problems and the previous ultrasound looked good. Thanks, today has been my most sad day. Thankfully, I am blessed with other kids to hold.
Dirty laundry!
Wow, I just read the lyrics. It sounds sad. Never heard it.
Green by Joni Mitchell is sad too. At least she gave her baby life and gave her up for adoption.
Ever hear the Mojo Nixon song Don Henley Must Die? Funny as hell...
I think I’ve heard the name Stevie Nicks. Ten, twenty years ago.
Now I find out it’s female.
Can we assume that she murdered that baby?

Yes she did and was open about it back then ,, this is not “new news” just forgotten ... this is what lead SNL to start referring to her VERY negatively back in the day ..
The “Of Interest” was written for 4 specific Freepers who follow showbiz & have 1980s or showbiz-related lists. (See post # 1)
My Condolences.
