One thing that is really cool about Europe and has been ruined in the US, is the ability to buy food from the common people on the street.

In cities around the world we have found we can get fresh food for low cost at farmers markets . Example the large yehuda market in Jerusalem and food street in Beijing.

We selected the food and watched it cooked in many cases. Also fresh fruit and veggies from the farm.

I’d much rather buy it from farmers who grow their own, than some filthy corporation that probably injects all kinds of pesticides and preservatives into their “food”.

hell yes..

in all my years in europe, only one street vendor sold me something that was not as advertised ( ground cat burgers )

although i did not think i was buying ground cat, it did have a very good flavor.....
