I sat here the whole damn day...
I only have one thing to say...
Tony Romo YOU F-----G SUCK
You'll cost me 'bout 300 bucks
For the shit you pulled this afternoon
My team is in ruin
Blood pressure's in...
The Red Zone
Certainly didn’t help me in fantasy football this week. My opponent had the 49er’s D, who managed to score more points than my QB (Brees).
In the last 20 seasons, the Cowboys have had 6 head coaches, 9 offensive coordinators, 7 defensive coordinators and only 1 playoff win. Yet they’ve had just ONE general manager.
Romo is not the problem.
Two years ago, I broke the hypnotic spell America’s team has imposed on me for the last 50 years. When I awoke I returned to the real world. I finally realized the Cowboys, Jerry Jones, and the whole game of NFL football now sucks. That the Tom Landry spirit for the game is really gone and my beloved Cowboys are no more. Never to return under this owner.
The game being “pitched” to the fans is no longer “football”. It’s a circus act interrupted continuously by advertisements. Its owners, players, and coaches are overpaid entertainers and other assorted f*ckups with off field issues degrading to the game of football. Jerry Jones, like P.T. Barnum, would probably hire a one-legged kicker if the thought he could make more money.
I quit spending the bucks after watching the same old crap year after year expecting see the Cowboys rebuild their franchise and return to their former greatness. The only time the Cowboys win now is by accident rather than intention. Jerry Jones gets his princely sum whether they win or lose. And lose they do. They always seem to find a way to lose when victory is almost assured. What a rip off.
After hearing about this years start, It looks like more of the same is in store for the fans. A Cowboy loss on Sunday used to frustrate me for the rest of the week. But no longer. I broke the spell and now I just laugh it off.
Wake up and you’ll find P.T. Barnum was right.
San Francisco played the second half like they felt sorry for Dallas.
I disagree strongly! As a Redskins fan, I urge you not yo give up on Romo just yet. There are seeds of greatness in him that may take 5-10 more years to come to fruition, so I beg you to keep him for at least the next ten years!
OK, did anyone buy that? (As long as Dallas has Romo, Washington has a chance to win two games per year... and that might be our only two this year...)
Fine with me you think Romo is no good. A Dallas loss is always more important than my team winning.
Romo is finished. And I think he knows it.
His back problems are clearly affecting his throwing ability, and I really don’t see it getting any better with time.
I was suitably impressed. Dallas started the year in perfect late-season form.
Then, after the game, things just got worse. My wife's high dollar vacuum cleaner broke. Fortunately, I had a “Dallas Cowboys” bumper sticker in the drawer and stuck it on the vacuum cleaner. Now it sucks better than new!
