Is it me or have we learned nothing since 09/11/01. We let another plane fly over U.S. airspace untouched because of frosted windows? What if it had been another attack?

One has to consider the many facets of a possible attack. Suppose it had a dirty bomb aboard, and the terrorist were hoping we would shoot it down?

Wow! Thanks. What I'm getting from the link with my lack of any experience is that the pilot requested to descend to a safer altitude, already feeling effects of hypoxia. It took over 4 minutes for him to get a response clearing him to descend from 25,000 to 10,000, but by then it was too late.

Fox has updated. Plane NOT forced down by Iran. The plane did not register flight plan over another country and was forced down. Another plane being sent now to pickup passanger s because of problem with original plane.
