Why couldn’t the owner be happy with a nice gentle corn snake?

Damn, that thing could hide in a snow bank and then attack me when I walk by. I will have nightmares for a month!

With all the Indians in the area surely they can find one who is a snake charmer.

The reptiles feed on small rodents, fish and other snakes. It's out hunting the politicians?
To: Pelham
Maybe it went to patrol the border.

(If it doesn't include border security, it isn't "reform." It's called "amnesty.")

Aside from the nightmare-inducing factors of this article, it is also obvious that editors aren’t as careful as they could be. The author used “coup” to refer to an enclosure for chickens, when the word should be “coop”. A “coup” usually results in the overthrow of a government.

Aren't cobras neurotoxic and rattlers hemotoxic?

Bad snake. Bad death. Glad the dog lived. If you are fully envemonated by an egyptian monocled cobra, you are done. Even if you get anti-venin, you’ll be horribly scarred.

You get into your car and reach for the seatbelt. It feels a little different but you are in a hurry. You hear the familiar click and then you hear something new.

Has anyone checked the suspected owners home. The snake may have bitten him and he may be very ill or dead. My nephew had a mountain cobra that bit him and he was able to call 911 before he passed out. The EMT’s got him to a hospital and saved his life. His snake was illegal too. He was feeding the darn thing when it bit him. Why he chose to own it was beyond me. The authorities took it to a zoo.
