Tomorrow 73 low, 90 high....gone fishin’ ‘til the Saint’s come a marchin’ in!
OK, fishing is something MC likes. What kind of fishing?
Do you live near Watkins Glen? I drove near there once when I was in Rochester on a business trip and an ice storm in Atlanta made me drive from Rochester to Newark to avoid a 5-day travel delay. It was not mountains like here in Colorado, but seemed nice.
Just fishing...turn on the tunes, slowly go from brewed coffee to brewed beers. Brother-in-law is gonna set out his hoop nets on the Red River, and join me on the lake. He’s gonna be catching...much more labor intensive than fishing, but I’ll join in his labor when we pull the nets on Thursday.
If I was in a catchin’ mood, it will be large mouth bass...kidding aside, I’ll be pitching a bubblegum worm. Odds are good I’ll be catching.
Do ya care for trout fishin’?
Why not?
The wreck yesterday was a car and it looked like it was a toy turned over by a giant. Didn’t look like much damage, just rolled over and turned in the wrong direction. Bet it ruined someone’s Friday party night.
Didn’t even make the news. Usually the paper will throw up pics of those incidents.
I'm betting it involves explosives (faster that way)
on streaming, gordon looks kind of orange tonight.
back near the front. he has had an incredible year.
Upside down SUCKS! I’ve still got asphalt in My back from when a Sheriff hit us head on L/H headlight to L/H headlight and We flipped over and spun counterclockwise 300 yds down the hill when I was 15. That Crown Vic was much stouter than the Cortina We were in, We turned sideways when the L/F suspension hit the A post, the tyres caught and that put us on the roof.
I used to live in Florida. Caught an 11 pound bass when I was in 7th grade. Fished in the Atlantic ocean too. Caught a wahoo that was 55 lbs, many dolphin (mahi mahi) up to about 50 lbs, sea trout up to about 12 lbs, red snapper and grouper. Of course many others were caught along the way like sharks.
Here in Colorado not as much. The trout are small, but have caught a rainbow that was about 3 lbs. Cought a tiger musky that was around 48 inches long and no guess on weight. I live near a reservoir that has lake trout that can get really big...maybe 50 lbs. Have not tried for them yet.
No luck involved in cracking the cap of a beer bottle....pure skill, nothing but skill.
OK
Yer right....
“Jeff Gordon’s gay
You know he’s gay...”
Tim Wilson...RIP
I rolled a Chevy pickup when I was 15, went through the windshield about the time the pickup slammed head on into an embankment, then it proceeded to roll in such a way that it was facing back in the direction I had just come from, in that lane.
Walked away. Don’t recall any gravel. I had a few other minor injuries, but no gravel.
Thank goodness it was a rural road. No one else came up on it before the state police arrived. And no one else to blame it on but me - and road conditions. Icy gravel. Pickup was more than my little 15 yo mind and arms could handle once it started fishtailing. If I could have turned it one more time, would have driven off into the pasture.
TA-312/PT....works like a champ on pan fish.
