The Montreal Alouettes appear to be interested in free-agent defensive end Michael Sam.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Montreal Alouettes have contacted Sam but have yet to hear back.

I’ll change the subject but not the venue. A bunch of us Air Force guys went up to Montreal looking for I wont say. We were running the strips looking for a great time. We found some. At about that time Hunter S. Thompson was running a strip bar there. It had to be an accident of timing because if we found him, it would have been a major piece of Cold War history.

The faster the media gets over this fudge packer the better.
Dunno if he’ll take the offer, but it’s probably his best chance to play professional football for a living.
I’m assuming, of course, that football is his primary objective here, and not reality tv. I know the tv show was supposedly “put on hold”, but I suspect had Sam made the Rams, we’d be seeing it again in short order. Simply for the reason that Sam is likely to make far more money from a reality tv show than he ever would have earned as a late-round draft pick. It’d be a smart move, financially. But it probably wouldn’t work if he went to the CFL - not enough media exposure, etc.
Just a thought.
