A laptop sitting on the stove's burner caught fire after the curious pup turned on the cooktop. No one was inside the home when the blaze broke out, and firefighters rescued the dog to safety.
Police say a New Jersey family's dog turned on the stove, which caught the laptop resting on the burner on fire and sent smoke through the roof.
The fire was reported early Friday evening in Lacey Township while the owners were away.

Don't blame the dog. He was just trying to make himself some lentil soup.

I put everything on the stove - why not? Books, computers, cell phones. My goodness, you would think this was weird or something.

I put my laptop on a cooling pad. It seems to work.
But I must admit I’ve never tried putting it on the stove, so who knows?
