different computer with W7 , Chrome, FR sidebar is too wide and I cant "catch" it to shrink the width
Side bar covers a lot of text unless I shrink font to 90% ... waaayyy too small for me
No. Coffee is RIGHT OUT! Just no.
I think you could probably fix it by changing your screen resolution to a lower quality setting.
Hmmmm.... I don’t know if this will help you, but
You can ZOOM IN/OUT from your browser by pressing CTRL and + (to enlarge or zoom in) or CTRL and - to zoom out(make smaller). CTRL and 0 will reset to NORMAL.
Also you say you use 150% font, which means you mean the system font settings. Browser settings are usually done by setting FONT SIZE. They are two different things.
Try setting your system fonts back to a smaller percentage , see if that corrects things.
Then try changing the font size in your browser (tools/options/content).
If all else fails, do the CTRL+ or CTRL- to adjust things to make it readable.
Hope this helps.
P.S. To repeat, Windows font size settings and Firefox Browser font size settings are two different things.
Windows font size is usually done through the CONTROL PANEL/DISPLAY/APPEARANCE settings (on an XP).
Windows 7 may be different.
P.P.P.S In my first post where I used the words “system font”, I meant “windows font”.
Sorry, you use CHROME, not Firefox.
CHROME font settings-
Click on meaningless icon that looks like 3 horizontal bars (far right near top)
Pick Settings / Click on SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS / scroll down to WEB CONTENT.
Coffee and two monster energy drinks, the energy surge will spaghettify Sidebar as they break lightspeed, thus they would be thinner AND at all points in the universe simultaneously!
The physics of this will work!
javascript: document.body.querySelector('.sb').style.width = '20%';void 0
When you are on the page, click the bookmark, and the sidebar should shrink from 30% of the page width to 20%.
Sidebar mod passed? You’re joking right? :-(
LOL....that might actually kill him though you know....especially if it’s you’re coffee you are giving him.
Naaah, I hear tell that sidebars are tough!
Reinforced polyalloynanostructure casings with quantum flux power supplies good for thousands of years.
Almost unkillable, coffee included!
Why do we need sidebars? I’ve never used it.
“My God, it’s full of stars!”
I am so sorry to have told you....my condolences.

(I know nothing of this new “Sidebar moderator.”)
