Survivor: San Juan del Sur Blood vs. Water is the 29th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 24, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Unlike the first Blood vs. Water, there will be no Redemption Island. Redemption Island had been previously announced for this series, but was cancelled and replaced with a new twist before shooting was to begin.
It will be held in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same location as Survivor: Nicaragua and Survivor: Redemption Island.
Contestants include the controversial former major league baseball player, John Rocker; and twins, Natalie and Nadiya Anderson, who competed twice on The Amazing Race.

I believe the previews included scenes from various future episodes. I think they do that sort of thing after the 1st episode of the season. From here on out the previews will only be for the upcoming week.
My family enjoyed the first episode. Always love us some Survivor.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)

Previews run fast but I try and look at beard length on the guys.
That’s about the only thing I can date the scenes with. Most guys look scruffy by day nine.
would he have trouble combating stereotypes that stem from his past comments and, if so, would having his girlfriend around help shield him? "To some degree, but not to a huge extent," he said of stereotypes about him being carried over. "I thought maybe [Julie] could soften them up and get them to see I'm not the monster the media has portrayed me to be, but once you get out there and realize you're on two different tribes, that goes out the window."
That, to me, says he and/or she didn't make it to merge.
Doing the happy dance one of the annoying TWINNIES!!!! is gone.
Ok, so, Josh got poisonous tree sap in his eyes so helps carry off the tree limbs by protecting his hands with his official Survivor buff. Then he wipes the even more poisonous buff over his eyes. Real smart there. His eyes were still red at tribal and we didn't see any medical check on him. Wonder if they did or what?
http://tvrecaps.ew.com/recap/survivor-season-29-san-juan-del-sur-premiere/5/ Josh says he changed his mind at tribal so voted for Baylor. Yet, another not so smart move. Don't know the reason. That'll surely put a target on him later.
Hmm, I'm getting a not so positive vibe off Jeremy. Sure, he's starting out being the Prom King but it's likely a masked ball with the mask slipping further into the season.
Did Jeff take away everyone's practice flint and that's why Coyopa wasn't using it? Dale shouldn't have broken his glasses but don't know if by "my reading glasses" he meant they were only for reading or they're full time seeing glasses. Fine if they're for reading since he's not going to be doing the NYT crossword puzzle out there but a dumb move if not. If there has been no II found, then what was it Dale found at the water well?
maybe not the next episode, but this season on Survivor
Agreed!
Great points, great questions. Over here we agree with you on Jeremy. He could ride it out in the ‘leader’ role, or flame out pretty quickly. At the least what he seems to have going for him is a shred of self-awareness.
Didn’t the cajun guy find the idol at the water well, but doesn’t know it’s an idol? The clue that Val has sent her to the water well on her side of the island.
Hmm. I didn’t think of that. You might be right.
After examining the screenshots you posted, here's my theory on where the idol might be hidden and why Val didn't (presumably) find it.
The (X) symbol--the one that equals "dig--on the clue is one of the symbols painted around the edge of the circular lid on the top of the well (in the top right of the screenshot.) But this lid isn't hinged to the well and therefore it can be rotated. So the (X) symbol isn't necessarily going to be aligned with the location of the idol, because the lid is being removed and replaced whenever folks are accessing the well and therefore it is turning randomly as a result.
That's where the other clue symbol--the one that equals "water"--comes in. This symbol is also visible on the lid of the well (looks to be under Dale's elbow in the screenshot.) I think that if you align this symbol with the with "water," then the (X) symbol will align with (or point towards) where to dig. So how do you align the other symbol with water, when the lid is sitting on top of the well? My guess is that if you rotate the lid so that the symbol is closest to the ocean then the (X) symbol will be properly aligned.
Rather than the ocean “water”, didn’t they say there is a fresh water pool nearby? The “water” symbol looks more like a pool by a waterfall.
There is a lone butterfly painted on the well rim. I don’t see anything else on the rim so that must be significant.
Still, what is the thing Dale found useful for? It has to be something.
Wondering why Josh voted for Baylor. Was he not aware who anyone was voting for?
Another guess on the clue ... http://i.imgur.com/vLpsanc.jpg

Val’s fault she got voted out. She told John she had two idols and when he came up with the plan she should have screamed “I don’t have one.”
John, you still could have given her yours.
Baylor, good thing you were up against your Mom. Your little cry baby act shocked her enough you could push her off.
Looks like Jeremy ain’t going to believe the truth and takes it out on John.
John, you reap what you sow.
hmmm ... The necklace Dale found looked nothing like the II from last night.

I’ve been wondering about that since I first saw it.
