Survivor: San Juan del Sur Blood vs. Water is the 29th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 24, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Unlike the first Blood vs. Water, there will be no Redemption Island. Redemption Island had been previously announced for this series, but was cancelled and replaced with a new twist before shooting was to begin.
It will be held in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same location as Survivor: Nicaragua and Survivor: Redemption Island.
Contestants include the controversial former major league baseball player, John Rocker; and twins, Natalie and Nadiya Anderson, who competed twice on The Amazing Race.

Anyone explain what players said on twitter that spoiled the show? You might have guessed Tony did well as he was tweeting much.
Don’t follow the show so close that I try and sniff out twitter talk.
Others in some places do and combed through them all looking for clues - and then posted them in some places - which some folks read.
Seriously Survivor Sucks has been a stupid place to visit ever since Russell H stopped posting his spoilers.
I just watch the show and hang out here.
The new season of Survivor: San Juan del Sur will feature all new players, but among the cast are a few familiar faces. And the most familiar and controversial is former Major League Baseball pitcher John Rocker (who will be competing with his girlfriend Julie McGee). Rocker pitched for the Atlanta Braves in the 1999 World Series in a losing effort against the New York Yankees, but the closer made even bigger headlines in a Sports Illustrated article that came out later that year.More

Apparently deciding that one stint out in the wild was not enough, a former Survivor contestant has returned to rough it out in the elements, but he forgot one thing: his clothes. Thats right, a former Survivor player will be appearing on this Sundays episode of Naked & Afraid on Discovery at 10pm. Whos the adventurous chap of which we speak?

Yes, even Jeff thinks the twins are annoying.
I don't like having a celeb become a distraction to the game. I'd rather watch ordinary unknowns.
One more week to go!

Ultimate season: MicronesiaFans vs. Favorites
Winner: Parvati Shallow
This is the season in which a poor ice cream scooper from Hell (Michigan, that is) was convinced by a bunch of hot babes to give up his immunity necklace
and then got promptly voted out by those same babes. Micronesia had it allmajor blindsides (poor Ozzy), brilliant strategy (Parvati established herself as one of the best gamers ever), and fascinating personal relationships (Hulk-like Joel and pageant coach Chet were a modern day Odd Couple). It was all capped off by one of the most bitter and bizarre final Tribal Councils ever. A must-watch for any reality competition fan. Dalton Ross

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)

Thanks, Star, for sending us on another season.
I’ll be in my chair watching CBS at 8:00PM.
Thanks for the ping.
Thanks for the ping. I’m in for the season, as usual we DVR and watch the next night so we can skip the commercials.
Great solution to preventing another Rupert sacrificing for his wife last season.
It was a good first episode.
The previews seem to show a better second episode. Somebody quits?
Jeremy seems to think he has his posse all rounded up.
