Freaks & GeeksTotally. They could have got at least three seasons out of that one.

and one of the most powerful moments Ive ever seen in any TV series is in one of those episodes.Which was that? I'll have to get them again on Netflix.

Crime Story should have stayed in Chicago. It got weird once they moved to Vegas.

Firefly was great - but no show should run forever. As the every-episode marathon is currently reminding us, the first ten seasons of The Simpsons were brilliant; as the rest of the marathon is soon to remind us, it's been a steady slide into unwatchability since then.

Nowhere Man deserved more than one season. Farscape.

Babylon 5 was good. The climactic battle scene was awesome, and I watched it several times.

Deadwood was awsome, really hardcore and unpredictable. Ian McShane was a trip.
Sons of Anarchy will make this list after this last season is over.

FWIW, some of my co-workers were ranting on about Portlandia. They said it was weird but worth watching.
I tried to watch one episode. Didn’t make it.
One line did stand out for me, though. “Portland is where young people go to retire.” I have a younger brother that lives in Portlandia.
He fits the image to a tee.

Funny, I have only seen a couple episodes of only one of those on the list. I’ve not even heard of most of them.

Firefly and Carnivale I agree with. Tons of story elements still to explore in both Worlds.

I haven’t watched TV for right at a decade now, so this may be dated, but I loved the shoot ‘em up first season of V and hated it when the writers veered Left. That’d be a nice do-over but it’d never get by today’s PC police, which actually is sort of ironic.
