Very nice. I assume the Expos were on the road.

Copeland deserves at least a little credit.

If they had any sense, the Expos would’ve been in Florida- it was filmed in the middle of the winter.

Yep. My favourite rock musicians all had classical training in their backgrounds.

That is a good. My other favourite of theirs was Take a Pebble.

I saw ELP in this era at a 6000 seat arena in the round on a revolving stage. One of my most memorable experiences, great performers and one of my favorite to this day.

Tarkus, 3rd Impression, so many great cuts.
Even the over-produced Pirates was great listening.

Interesting. I saw ELP in the (now long gone ...) Chicago International Amphitheater in 1977. Will never forget how they "blew up" the huge synthesizers used during Fanfare for the Common Man.
I've seen my share of rock 'n rolls shows --- that one is still heads and shoulders above all others and is my favorite. What a great, great show they put on!

Karn Evil 9 1st Impression is still my favorite piece of music ever - even with Carl’s interminable drum solo (never liked drum solos - no offense to the drummers out there).

Saw them in Toledo at the Masonic Hall. My favorite was their very own Pirates. Great instrumentals and I always loved the swash buckling theme.

I saw ELP at Jenison Field House at Michigan State University in 1977. It was a terrific concert; they were a terrific band, until...Love Beach. Talk about losing your cred in a hurry.

Yeah, Love Beach was quite awful. I think they were going for some quick money after the Welcome Back tour nearly bankrupted them. Only worthwhile track on it was Canario.
