I had to laugh this morning, when on Fox News, one of the reporters exclaimed “In a rare occurrence, Obama will be taking time from his vacation, to return to the White House, to discuss the Ferguson and Iraq issues....”
A “rare occurrence” to leave a vacation...yep. For Obama, it is. That’s all his 6 years in office have been...one BIG LONG VACATION, that he occasionally takes leave from, so it “appears” he’s doing something.

As the writer well knows, there is no comparison between “vacationing” at a home equipped to function in every way like the White House and staying at various luxury villas across the country, golfing and eating ice cream all day.

Most of them involve President George W. Bush, who spent a lot of time at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, almost treating it at times as a second White House. Bush's ranch was better than a second White House. It was a secure fortress where Bush could do anything that he could do in D.C.
The Secret Service loved it. The press hated it.
