and actions before police shot the unarmed teen dead
Mr Johnson said that he and Brown were walking home from a store when the cop told them to get out of the street and 'get the f***' on to the sidewalk'....
The friend said the officer threw open the door which slammed closed again after bouncing off Brown. It was then that the officer grabbed his friend by the neck.
'The time frame was 60 seconds or less, it got out of hand really quickly.'
Johnson said that the officer had drawn his gun by this time and threatened to shoot Michael.
'I seen the fire come out of the barrel,' he told the network. 'I could see so vividly what was going on because I was so close.'
Johnson said the first time the officer fired, he and Brown got scared and ran away but he could already see that the teenager had blood coming down his shirt where he had been shot.
The 22-year-old ducked behind a car but Brown kept running.
'He shot again, and once my friend felt that shot, he turned around and put his hands in the air, and he started to get down,' Johnson said.
The 22-year-old said: '[Brown] stopped, turned with his hands up and said ''I dont have a gun, stop shooting!'' 'But the officer still approached with his weapon drawn and fired several more shots.'
The eye-witness said despite the teenager's protests, the officer shot again, hitting Brown and leaving him on the ground.
The 22-year-old spoke to MSNBC on Tuesday alongside his attorney, and former St Louis' mayor, Freeman Bosley Jr.

I’ve heard witness after witness and they are very close to this — and forensic evidence we have thus far matches his story.
“Police said Brown physically assaulted the officer from the Ferguson police, who then fired multiple shots at Brown after he left the car on Saturday. The officer, who was not identified, is a six-year veteran and has been put on administrative leave, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar told a news conference.”
“It is our understanding at this point in the investigation, that within the police car, there was a struggle over the officer's weapon,” Belmar told reporters as voices from hundreds of demonstrators shouting outside the building could be heard.”
However, if a car-jacking victim jumps out of the car and chases the thief down, and shoots him dead, it's a jail he'll be goin'. This cop has the right to chase down a felony suspect and make an arrest. He doesn't have the right to shoot him dead unless he is in fear of harm. There is no evidence that I have seen that the office had any justification for the killing shots. If we did that, this same jackass cop would put us in jail for life. That's where he should be.
What facts are being made up??
There was brass all over the scene and it all came from the officer’s gun —
“Im of Irish descent and some people might find me somewhat dramatic. And I can rant with the best of them, if I do say so myself”
Hey, no problem my friend. I agree with you on the bad actors. I just don’t think you should assume everyone is a bad actor.
You didn’t answer my question —
“There are literally thousands of incidents involving police officers every day. If you pick and choose the worst 3 over the last year or so some will be bad.”
Nonsense. Criminals of all types spend most of their time doing nothing wrong or even good things. Doesn’t change that they are criminals. His list of concerns is valid. Very unacceptable stuff has been going on, and cops are VERY accepting of it.
That is the worst part jocon didn’t mention. Cops aren’t paying the price for these events. Nor is his list of 3 events anything close to comprehensive. We can add the wii shooting, 10 rounds into a hostage in CA... The list is very large.
And what most of them have in common, no punishments, and cops don’t care. That is the worst part. Cops are completely accepting of this stuff.
” The incidents you describe have nothing to do with what happened to Michael Brown.”
It has plenty to do with LE credibility, the likelihood a cop actually did this, and how much we can trust LE to have a real investigation. Very relevant.
“Stop the irrelevant rants.”
And that is just your way of dismissing perspectives that don’t meet your view point. And of course arrogantly dismissive. A very typical cop response.
And from your user name, you are probably part of the problem. A cop, who toes the Blue Line like it is the Book of John.
From what I’ve heard the kid was 6’3” and weighed 300lbs.
He beat the cop down in his car had backed off and was coming back at the cop again for a second beat down.
+1
what? he can bleed plenty without an aorta shot. Jeeze, what’s your problem?
You’re not following my assertion that Michael Brown never spoke those exact words. In that fashion.
Cops have lost their minds..
“This anonymous friend was obviously coached by the Brown attorneys and the story was rehearsed and rehearsed until the friend got it just right.
I dont know what happened but I have read the Brown was in the police car fighting with the officer and trying to take the officers weapon. I dont think any of the well rehearsed witnesses Browns Attorneys paid to make up stories can explain that.”
HAHAHAHA. For a second there I thought you were serious. In another comment, you talk about no one knowing what is going on. Now here you are, making assumptions you can’t prove one bit.
Of course you ignore the absolute silence of the cops at first. One might consider, since they have done it in the past, that that was to get THEIR story straight. I can easily point to verified made up stories by cops.
“I dont know what happened but I have read the Brown was in the police car fighting with the officer”
That is the officer’s claim. As yet, is that some verified fact?
Here is a comment from another source. Is this true? I hadn’t heard it before.
“And the officer sustained a bruised, swollen beat up face. How about we wait for the whole story to emerge? I heard the kid had a huge file as well.”
Sorry, but I have to side with that young man. Cops in america are out of control. They have become violent, oppressive and in some cases cold blooded murderers. I know that is not always the case but it is now the majority. It is a major sign of our decline. All u good cops out there, stand up before its too late.
This was not a Harvard graduate.
Neither am I. Are you?
I certainly could put together simple seven-word sentence.
I just wish everyone be as perfect as you.
How precious of you to accuse hundreds of thousands of people you never met and who risk their lives to keep you and your family safe.
he can bleed plenty without an aorta shot. Jeeze, whats your problem?
Hey! How dare you question a Real veteran!
“Isn’t anybody going to help that poor man?”
