and actions before police shot the unarmed teen dead

Mr Johnson said that he and Brown were walking home from a store when the cop told them to get out of the street and 'get the f***' on to the sidewalk'....

The friend said the officer threw open the door which slammed closed again after bouncing off Brown. It was then that the officer grabbed his friend by the neck.

'The time frame was 60 seconds or less, it got out of hand really quickly.'

Johnson said that the officer had drawn his gun by this time and threatened to shoot Michael.

'I seen the fire come out of the barrel,' he told the network. 'I could see so vividly what was going on because I was so close.'

Johnson said the first time the officer fired, he and Brown got scared and ran away but he could already see that the teenager had blood coming down his shirt where he had been shot.

The 22-year-old ducked behind a car but Brown kept running.

'He shot again, and once my friend felt that shot, he turned around and put his hands in the air, and he started to get down,' Johnson said.

The 22-year-old said: '[Brown] stopped, turned with his hands up and said ''I don’t have a gun, stop shooting!'' 'But the officer still approached with his weapon drawn and fired several more shots.'

The eye-witness said despite the teenager's protests, the officer shot again, hitting Brown and leaving him on the ground.

The 22-year-old spoke to MSNBC on Tuesday alongside his attorney, and former St Louis' mayor, Freeman Bosley Jr.

Brown was apparently a punk, maybe know to the local PD.

He likely didn't need killin' that night.

This seems to ring true except it doesn’t explain when brown was in the cop car. Apparently at least one shot took place in there. I also wonder what they said to the cop.

This feels very different from the Trayvo episode. The family is not acting like Tawanna Brawley. Beginning to think there was something very wrong with the cop...

‘’I don’t have a gun, stop shooting!’’

I seriously doubt that those words were ever spoken.

Like that.

Now would seem to me that this person was somewhat involved with the situation and not just some bystander. So why would the LEO not have already “interviewed” him while they had him in custody if for no more reason than he would be a material witness?

Call me a skeptic, but you don’t suspect these holders folks would tell anything other than the truth, do ya?

Even if it was Brown, momentarily in control of the gun in that police car, at the time of his death he was thirty feet away and unarmed. There was no reason to shoot him at this time. He was a danger to nobody.

Thanks to what this cop did, it becomes highly possible that the reason why Brown may have been trying to get the gun away in the first place was because he was trying to save his own life from a crazy cop.

The only relevant piece of information is the victim was unarmed and was 35ft from the patrol car when shot fatally.

The cop committed First Degree Murder and should face the Death Penalty.

It does not matter what happened leading up to the moment of the fatal shots.

35ft away, unarmed.

I'd like to see anyone come up with a bullsh!t story to cover that one.

Why is the cop not already arrested and charged?

I won't pretend to know all of the facts at this point in time from all of the stories that are flying around, but whether or not this kid “needed killin” or not, it's definitely not the job of any officer to act as judge, jury and executioner.

Is there any evidence that this kid was in any way a deadly threat to the officer that killed him?

I’m sorry, but it is hard to believe cops these days. Look at how they’ve carried on in other places.

Shooting up that car in LA, with the 2 women in it, because they thought it looked like the car the (admittedly dangerous) guy they were seeking had. But hundreds of cars look alike, you can’t just open fire on a vehicle, but that’s what they did.

Killing that old man in the nursing home, and another old man in his driveway, and I think another old man.

That craziness in New Mexico with taking the people to the hospital and having all sorts of really invasive procedures done to them because they thought they had drugs IN them. (I still don’t know how the hell they got away with that. I’d probably be dead if something like that happened to me because, yeah, I’d resist much.)

All the swat raids, sometimes on the wrong houses.

That teenager with the bb gun (or whatever it was), and they just opened fire on him.

They’ve just lost all credibility.

If you’re gunning down old men who don’t want to take their meds and throwing flashbangers (or whatever you call them) into infant’s cribs, why wouldn’t I believe you’d just haul off and shoot some black teenager?

I’m not saying that’s what happened, but it’s easy to believe.

And I used to be 100% pro-cop.

It’s the cops who changed my views.

This anonymous “friend” was obviously coached by the Brown attorneys and the story was rehearsed and rehearsed until the “friend” got it just right.

I don’t know what happened but I have read the Brown was in the police car fighting with the officer and trying to take the officer’s weapon. I don’t think any of the well rehearsed witnesses Brown’s Attorneys paid to make up stories can explain that.

My free “legal advise” as a journalist. Don’t believe anything said for at least a week. Too many inconsistencies in the NEWS reports so far.

Don’t make an ass out of yourselves with useless speculation.

Do it with who is going to win the World Series.
