President Barack Obama hinted strongly at coming Supreme Court vacancies in the last two years of his presidency, speaking of the urgent need for Democrats to hold their Senate majority after the November midterms. I need to know which Senate candidates most need my financial support since I refuse to blindly donate to the Republican Party.
Let’s help Mike McFadden beat Stuart Smalley here in Minnesota.
My ballot box is closed. Other solutions will undoubtedly present themselves.
Cory Gardner in Colorado.
We need to throw Udall out of this state.
The more Republicans as sad as that fact is the more likely we are to block his agenda including judges.
There will be very few who want the stench of this, “ magic negro” around. To help in any democrap re-election efforts.
Obviously we need to make Mitch McConnell Leader. /sarc
good overview...9 competitive races...pick a race and support them.
http://www.nytimes.com/newsgraphics/2014/senate-model/
North Carolina
Alaska
Iowa
Colorado
Are the closest races. GOP needs to win 3 of them...
Col Rob Maness, Louisiana. He’s opposing Senator Mary (Miss Piggy) Landrieu.
Don’t worry, John McCain and the gang of 8 will continue to vote in Obama’s progressive/liberal/Anti-American Justices even if his party does not believe in them.
Allow me to give you what I think you were actually looking for, which is a list of actual conservatives worth supporting.
Terri Lynn Land is worth a look in Michigan
Joni Ernst in Iowa is the other big one
Every other candidate is either a mega RINO, or is guaranteed to win anyway.
Grimes in Kentucky could use a few bucks.
Poach a RINO, save the Republic.
2. Cory Gardner---Colorado
3. Jeff Bell----New Jersey
4. Mike McFadden---Minnesota
5. Tom Cotton---Arkansas
6. Whoever---Alaska
7. Whoever----Louisiana
8. Terri Land----Michigan
Republicans will win Montana, West Virginia, and South Dakota. Four of the above eight makes Reid the MINORITY Leader. No guarantee that will save the Republic but worth giving them a chance. Each of the eight Demonrats in 1-8 have richly earned defeat on the merits. My personal favorites of the eight above are Joni Ernst, Jeff Bell (policywise the very best) and Cory Gardner.
I think I read that Jeff Bell is like the NJ population pro-abortion, but I may be mistaken. I know he was head and shoulders above Bill Bradley in 1978 though not in stature.
LA will no more support Col. Maness than TN did Joe Carr. He lacks political experience, which even Carr had. Maness should have run for Cassidy’s House seat against Edwin Edwards, but he would have lost that too.
All 8 races look very difficult to me; kind of like climbing Mt. Sinai if not Mt. Everest.
I know Dr. Cassidy will win the senate seat. I hope Col Maness lives in Cassidy’s district....
Dr. Monica Wehby in Oregon...to beat Jeff Merkley
