We all see tens of thousands of commercials in our lifetime, but there's probably a few that really standout... Where's The Beef?, Apple's 1984, Mikey likes Life cereal, etc. What's your favorite commercial(s) of all time.
Edie Adams’ “Why don’t you pick one up and S-s-smoke it some time?”
“What do you want! Good grammar or good taste!”
“A Camel filter cigarette! I dropped everything!”
Then there was (I believe)the Remington razor commercial in which James Coburn gives himself a complete shave in one minute.

I liked the floating VW commercial. Also the lampoon of it stating that if Ted Kennedy had driven one that night...

I LMAO about the idea of herding 10,000 half wild shorthairs. So many little things in the commercial like the cowcatboy at camp using the lint remover or the one rolling up balls of yarn.
Another Wendys commercial from the same time period as “where’s the beef?”. It was the infamous “Soviet fashion show” commercial where a very heavy, ugly woman comes out on the runway after the announcement “ees next evening-vear!” with a horribly plain ugly dress on. She leaves the stage. The next announcement is made “ees next, sweem-vear!” the same woman comes out wearing the same exact outfit, except now she’s carrying a beach ball under her arm! Then the announcer chimes in with the tagline “choice is good!”
The commercial ran maybe once or twice when the Soviets got wind of it and complained to our state department. The state department in turn pressured Wendys to pull the ad, which they did. I almost fell over laughing the first time I saw it. I’m glad I caught it because not a lot of people saw it at the time.

THE first dress was “day vear.” “Eees evennink vear” was accessorized with a flashlight. THEN came the “szimmvear”. Pure genius...
