Now, I'm 20 miles north of Dallas instead of 40 miles north of Houston, but the grow zone isn't much different. It's going to be colder in the winter here and warm weather will be later than Conroe. However, the swell heated garage will allow for seeds to germinate at the same time as when I was in Conroe. I do have my grow lamp with me. There is an unused big bathtub here and an unused regular size tub and I'm thinking one of those is the place for the grow lamp - out of the way and Yorkie can't get to it.
I'm going to my house this week and will note the condition of plants and when I return, I'll know for sure which varieties I will plant next time.
I brought a container of Burpee Sweet Banana Pepper with me and it has kept producing even in this hot weather and it's in a fairly small pot. There are three peppers on it now. The number of this pepper is 62976A. Will definitely grow it again.
The Burgess Fooled You Pepper now has new deep green growth and one bloom and keeps making peppers in this hot weather. This is a Jalapeno without being hot.
There was another new bloom on the T squash this morning.
When I get back from my house I will make a report on the condition of plants there and a full list of which plants are the winner producers. Maybe I will have more produce to bring back - or maybe not. :o)
I've been wondering about Mr. Stevia, and his friend that is also a stevia. Hope they survived.
Sounds like a pretty good set up at the new location.
