The catastrophe of Iraq has been growing steadily worse for weeks, but by Thursday, it became impossible for the United States and other civilized nations to ignore it. Iraq’s bloodthirsty Sunni extremists were threatening the extermination of tens of thousands of members of religious minorities who have refused to join the fundamentalist Islamic state the terrorist forces want to create.
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, known as ISIS, drove Christians, Yazidis and other minorities from their homes by giving them a choice between religious conversion or slaughter. There have been reports of scores of civilians being killed. Many of these frightened and desperate people have surged toward the Turkish border and some 40,000 are estimated to be suffering from heat and thirst on Mount Sinjar in northeast Iraq.
So it was not surprising to hear President Obama announce Thursday night that the United States was dropping food and water supplies in northeast Iraq and that he had authorized targeted airstrikes against ISIS, if needed.

They were all lined up on roads exposed in the middle of the barren desert and were sitting duck targets.
The whole ISIS invasion of Iraq could have been stopped dead in it's tracks and the Jihadi wiped out with a hand full of strike aircraft in a day or so.
It would not even have required decisive action on the part of Obama or even any risks.
With the JDAMs in our inventory, our aircraft could have launched attacks fro 30 miles away and never going below 30,000 ft altitude.
The same could be said of the plundered Humvees and howitzers. All lined up on a highway in the middle of the desert - perfect targets and not a civilian soul around so there was no chance of collateral damage.
ISIS exists because Obama created it and he wants it to exist.
ISIS has not been attacked because Obama does not want it attacked and instead wishes to protect it.
One can infer from Obama’s lack of action that ISIS is doing exactly what Obama wants ISIS to do.
When ISIS took fallujah in Jan. is when Obama should have acted.
This is all completely his fault.
I have to assume that the rest of the Muslim world is not stepping in to stop this, is that they are fully behind ISIS.

As they decapitate little girls they scream to Allah, their god that “this blood is a sacrifice to you!” This demon has his eyes on you, your country, and your children. Don’t let him win. Yup, Obama is calling them by there official and proper name.
Just like he pronounces Pakistan with a perfect, fluent pronunciation.

And this includes our ‘peaceful’ muzzies in the country.
You don’t hear a peep from them in support of those hapless people but they are certainly very vocal when it comes to supporting their fellow muzzies in Hamas.
Pray ISIS is not on the heels of the 40,000 escaped Christians, in the mountains, close enough to collect them and use them as cover for the incoming US bombing strikes.

It won't happen. The Western MSM don't give a damn about the Middle East Christians or other victims of ISIS (or ISIL) in Iraq. All they want to do is make sure Obama’s butt is covered and the American people remain stupid and asleep. The MSM are Obama’s Praetorian guard of liars. The Democrat Party is Barack’s enabler in this fiasco.

It’s too late to prevent a slaughter in Iraq. The slaughter is on. And so is ISIS treating Christians a lot like the Nazis treated the Jews in the Twenties and Thirties. We could stop all that if we really wanted to badly enough. That is, if we sent our guys back in, as combatants, with orders to make ISIS stop by any means necessary. I don’t know that we want to badly enough. And our current administration definitely doesn’t, because that would be a de facto admission that they screwed it up in the first place.
