Would be easier to upload photos to a post, like on FB for example. personally i struggle a lot to figure out the img src code.
is there a way to do this?
First, your whole family has to go to clown college.
That costs extra.
Maybe they should consider putting advertising in the margins, like Hot Air.
LOL!
And graduate.
I’m freeping from my iPad. you can do the same from an iPhone.
just use Safari
as for images, forget it. the rabid left would spend all day uploading homo porn to fill the servers.
upload you image to imgur.com then paste the link into your post (with the appropriate HTML img tag)
I want to see FR fund itself with a single top ad, just like Drudge. And the ad should be from one of the firearm companies. Gun porn is always a good thing to wake up to.
Advertisers control content, boycotts work.
ads also allow for better tracking of posters (which is already happening in many pages when users post simple 1x1 pixel tags)
I would bet that all of us are well known to certain agencies. I don’t think one can post on FR without being known by the government. Spam from retailers is inconsequential.
actually, a quick check shows each page has a google analytic tag hooked to acct UA-2288668-1
this allows google (and the NSA) to track every user to the site and where they are posting from
this would also allow them to get browsing habits from other sites as well
I would agree
How’d you do that? The photo tag thingy?
Unfortunately FR needs the google analytic to track how many hits FR gets. Kinda a double edged sword.
Insert the donate link in from of the image HTML.
“From” = FRONT! LOL
I see what you mean! I didn’t even notice. LOL
Insert the donate link in from of the image HTML.
Dang. I’ve tried a few times (different ways), but can’t get it to work :(
At the end of an HTML pic tag it will say < hosted by Whomever > Simply change the words.
You mean the title when you hover over the photo?
< img title="blahblah" src="..." > (Of course no space between < and img. You can also control the width (in pixels) and the height (in pixels) with width=100 and height=100 (use appropriate number
Thus this html code
{a href="https://secure.freerepublic.com/donate/"} {img width=350 title="Viking Kitty wants you to donate or he will gift you with a dead mouse." src="http://www.websophist.com/MollyVikingMO.jpg"} (change {} to <>)
gives you this:
