I’m not trying to be mean but is your 20 yer-old brother employed or employable? And do your parents get government subsidies to support their Down’s son?
He’s eighteen, thanks, and not through with high school; but yes, he is employed and employable. There are a lot of menial tasks that need warm bodies and hard workers. It’s none of my business whether they get government subsidies but since they homeschooled 6 children, never taking a dime of government assistance, and then adopted multiple children from foster care, thereby saving the taxpayers a good bit of money, I think they’re a net tax-paying unit anyway.
But even if they were, it still doesn’t give anyone the right to say that my brother’s life isn’t worth living, or that he’s a burden on society. We don’t get to make those decisions.
I don't know about JenB's brother, but I worked with a man who had all of the facial features associated with Down's, and a very slight speech impediment. I never discussed Down's with him, because it would have been rude. He was an optical engineer working for the second largest aerospace company in the US, and entrusted to represent the company in international contracts in Europe as well as in the US.
He owned entire apartment buildings for just some of his personal investments. He and I would laugh at you if you asked about government subsidies. He and I both paid enough in taxes to single-handedly support an entire bureaucrat's annual salary.
Everything is not always the way out looks on the surface.
You are among the most pathetic trolls I've ever seen on here?
Are YOU employed or employable? Does YOUR boss know that you have a mindset that typically only exists among abortionists and white supremacists?
And do your parents get government subsidies to support their Downs son?
What the hell do you care? Losers like you don't earn enough money to pay taxes.
Your zot cannot come soon enough.
I went ahead and translated this for you, I'm sure your Stormfront buddies have always wondered what it says.
What a sad, small person you are.
My mother in law knew they would not be able to get insurance for him, so she went to work. Every raise she got went into investments. When the time came she was able to care for him. He lived into his mid 80's. She is still alive.
My point in this is just because some one has a disability does not make them useless. Most responsible people will make all the needed provisions for their disabled person.
My friend was told her baby might have DS, she refused to have the baby tested. They tried to force her, she said no, God has a plan for this baby just like he did for my other children, we accept the responsibility.
Luke came out completely perfect and is now a happy 12 year old.
Are you employed or employable?
Trolling internet forums is not employment.
Perhaps, by your troll logic, your mother should have... Naaah.
Enjoy your zot.
