Mike Cutler, a 63-year-old grandfather, allegedly killed his cancer cells with homemade cannabis oil, after receiving his second liver cancer diagnosis in five years.
The cancer survivor was first diagnosed with liver cancer in 2009 after he blacked out at work, after which he then received an organ transplant in November of that year. However, last year, his health took a turn for the worst when he found out new cancerous cells were attacking his new organ.
A liver transplant and a second cancer diagnosis later, Cutler decided to buy marijuana from a dealer and make his tablets from the oil to treat his condition. The grandfather admits that after three days of taking one capsule, his severe pain disappeared and eventually began to cough up blood, which he believes contained the dead cancer cells. I cant believe cannabis oil isnt being used regularly as treatment. It is a miracle cure."

We'll be right over.
Is this Medical Daily a trade publication? If so, why is this article in it? This is the type of thing you'd expect to see in Star or National Inquirer. I wouldn't try this at home.
Part of the push in some states for legalized maryjane is for being able to receive treatment with CBD oil, without having to get the .gov approval.
THC has been shown to shrink tumors...maybe his just responded incredibly well.
hempseed oil / pot oil/can work against cancer.
i doubt he just knew what to do, but was rather following a guide already out there by a doctor who has instructions on how to do this. the article excerpt just makes it sound like he knew what he was doing all by himself.
Love that pic.
Can’t wait to visit the Choom Gang Museum opening 2017....
Allegedly.
“...began to cough up blood...”
That’s not a good sign of anything.

Why do people think it’s so outlandish that Marijuana could be of benefit for certain diseases and conditions? Most of our current drugs come from terrestrial or aquatic plant / animal life.
Who was the guy in Germany that ate the willow tree bark and it made his headache go away?
I think his name was Mr. Bayer......
Comet cleanser clears nasal passages.. Permanently.
Although, in fairness , mother nature has many healing substances in its flora and fauna and such. Not to mention tiny colorful frogs are hopping chemical factories.
The WoD goes on..
while I think this story is more than farfetched, as there is no such thing as an overnight miracle-cure, there is much foundation to support the cannabis component CBD as noninvasive cancer therapy, especially pertaining to breast cancer:
“An in vitro study of the effect of CBD on programmed cell death in breast cancer cell lines found that CBD induced programmed cell death, independent of the CB1, CB2, or vanilloid receptors. CBD inhibited the survival of both estrogen receptorpositive and estrogen receptornegative breast cancer cell lines, inducing apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner while having little effect on nontumorigenic, mammary cells.[19]”
THC, on the other hand, should be the subject of more study to resolve the conflict in angiogenic effects noted at footnotes 23/24:
“In an in vivo model using severe combined immunodeficient mice, subcutaneous tumors were generated by inoculating the animals with cells from human non-small cell lung carcinoma cell lines.[22] Tumor growth was inhibited by 60% in THC-treated mice compared with vehicle-treated control mice. Tumor specimens revealed that THC had antiangiogenic and antiproliferative effects. Tumor growth was inhibited by 60% in THC-treated mice compared with vehicle-treated control mice. Tumor specimens revealed that THC had antiangiogenic and antiproliferative effects.
However, research with immunocompetent murine tumor models has demonstrated immunosuppression and enhanced tumor growth in mice treated with THC.[23,24]

Obviously this man has a very strong knowledge of biology and medicine and is not a crackpot attempting a quack home remedy.
People tend to believe what they want to believe. What most people don’t know is it’s very easy to get National Institute on Drug Abuse approval for studies on the harmful effects of pot, and very difficult to get FDA approval for any studies on medical benefits. As a result, much of that research is being done in places like Israel.
According to the INTERNET:
“Hippocrates, the Greek physician who lived from about 460 to 377 B.C., wrote that willow leaves and bark relieved pain and fevers.
It wasn’t until thousands of years later that people began to isolate the key ingredients of aspirin. An 18th-century clergyman, Edward Stone, rediscovered aspirin, in effect, when he wrote a report about how a preparation of powdered willow bark seemed to benefit 50 patients with ague and other maladies, Roueché wrote.
In the 1800s, researchers across Europe explored salicylic acid. French pharmacist Henri Leroux isolated it in 1829, Roueché writes. Hermann Kolbe discovered synthetic salicylic acid in 1874, but when administered often in large doses, patients experienced nausea and vomiting, and some even went into a coma. A buffer was needed to ease the effects of this acid on the stomach.
The aspirin we know came into being in the late 1890s in the form of acetylsalicylic acid when chemist Felix Hoffmann at Bayer in Germany used it to alleviate his father’s rheumatism, a timeline from Bayer says. Beginning in 1899, Bayer distributed a powder with this ingredient to physicians to give to patients. The drug became a hit and, in 1915, it was sold as over-the-counter tablets”
