It was euthanized and the head sent to Austin for rabies testing. The coyote didn’t have rabies. (per local DFW news)

Such a sweet little puppy, I can understand she wanted to help it out. Did I hear the newsgirl correctly? I think she said the rescuer feels bad about knowing that the Coyote pup will have to be euthanized. Is that true? Too bad. If it is true, it may be because, now that a human’s scent is on the pup, it will be rejected by it’s mom or any other Coyote. Maybe they know enough about Coyote behavior to say that.

Similar to the Sears Optical commercial.

From the local
Fox news article:
"State law mandates coyotes be put down because they're among the top five high-risk animals for rabies."

Feel bad? You are kidding. The animal has rabies. Obviously you missed that. It has no chance of survival with rabies and would have infected others. It is likely this so called rescuer will have to under go rabies treatment, no doubt covered by her Obama Care.

A local radio lady pulled a rat out of Tampa Bay thinking it was a dog. She didn’t figure it out until she took it to the vet.
Yes, she’s blonde.

It didn’t have rabies. But it is a COYOTE. Not a dog. Coyotes are vile, wicked beings.

I wouldn’t say vile and wicked. It is just an animal and simply does what comes naturally. I have lost quite a few animals to them, but oddly feel a bit bad when I kill one They are so adaptable and can be so challenging to finally kill, I almost feel bad whne the test is over. WEird, I know. Still, the person in this story is a fool.

Once in a while, some idiot tries to adopt a coyote puppy. It has never worked to my knowledge.
To: Vendome
I raised it from a baby. I’m heart broken. I’ll never watch another one of his steenking movies!

Just awful.
So sorry for you loss.
Do you chip them in case they get lost and are found by animal control, so they can be returned to you or is that not feasable given the thickness of their hide?

Chipping your pets is just a con game. The real purpose of it
is so SWAT can track them down and shoot them like dogs!
