Pam Oliver is no longer Fox's top NFL sideline reporter. And after this coming football season, she will no longer be a sideline reporter at all.
Oliver confirmed the news to Sports Illustrated on Sunday night that she will move to the networks No. 2 team for her 20th NFL broadcasting season. Erin Andrews has been elevated to the No. 1 sideline spot, joining the team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Olivers last season working as a reporter on the NFL will be spent with the No. 2 Fox team of Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch.

Of course there was a comment indirectly implying in the article that this move is racist. I would just be happy if there was no sideline reporters.

Female sideline reporters are a joke. Alos, I often wonder how Aikman controls the kneejerk desire to punch out Buck.

Fox is obviously racist.
Not that I care AT ALL about the NFL’s problems. I look forward to the day it either rehabilitates itself OR goes the way of the dodo.

Oliver was horrific. He interview was losing coach Harbaugh after the NFC Championship was one of the worst on record.

I guess I’m behind the times. But still getting used to the idea of girl sports reporters in the first place.

Pam Oliver and Erin Andrews are hot! There I said it.....good day!

Dude! Wrong angle.
Ask them to turn around and you’ll see the reason why.
That said, I consider Pam a much more beautiful face (camera-wise) than Erin. Then, there IS that “naked-hotel-room” tape....

Well then I guess I’ll have to watch the games on FOX, but mute the sound and tune it in on the radio. I can’t stand Erin’s voice. I’d rather scrape my fingernails down a chalkboard.

A nothing job for a pretty face. And there’s always a prettier face available. Sorry Pam, you may have to consider getting a real job.

First it was Basketball then Baseball then Football. now I no longer watch the stick an ball sports. I enjoyed football when a guy scored, in the words of Vince Lombardi, “he acted like he had been there before.” Now too much LOOK AT ME in all the “team” sports. So I don't do them.

I should be so discriminated against:
“Oliver signed a new multi-year contract for Fox Sports last week and will be doing long-form pieces, specials, major interviews and some producing as well.”

I remember teh days of Phyllis George on the NFL Today on CBS (NFC Sunday games). She was pleasant enough. Then she was succeeded Jayne Kennedy. Jayne was nice enough, but had the bad habit of reading scores backwards ("In the third quarter it's Giants 10, Viking 14")
On WFAN radio Susan Waldman is extremely knowledgeable about baseball. Unortunately, she sounds like the offspring of Lynn Samuels and a Bronx jackhammer.

Erin Andrews has a face for TV and a voice for Twitter. Make it stop.
