By Yuan Ren 01 Jul 2014 Ever heard of yellow fever? No, not the disease you can pick up when travelling to certain countries. I'm talking about when Caucasian men develop an acute sexual preference for East Asian women – even becoming a fetish, for some.
Naturally, there are dating websites aplenty dedicated to 'serving' those men who have yellow fever, where the average East Asian women is increasingly being perceived as a desirable partner.
In fact, the most recent figures from 2.4 million users of Facebook dating apps showed a clear skew in preference for women of East Asian descent by men of all racial groups, except, ironically, Asian men.
As a Chinese, single woman in the UK - where I have rarely come across racism – my East Asian friends and I have encountered a fair share of men with telltale signs of yellow fever. But it's subtle, and of course, few would admit to surfing online dating sites for Chinese women, yet when the only girls they date are Chinese, then the probabilities are in their favor.
Having said that, I'm surprised at what British men, both young and old, generally get away with when talking about East Asian women (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.) as well as South East Asian women (Vietnam, Thailand etc.)

There was a time, before rampant feminism, when we knew who we were. Being a man had rules, being a woman had rules. None of this "gender identification issues" nonsense. I miss the days when you could tell a woman she looked nice today, and she took it as a compliment. "When the men were men and the women were glad of it." By my money, modern society has not improved upon the way God made us. (My hippie eldest brother married a Feminazi SHREW and was a martyred, weary looking mess until the day he divorced her.)
So yes...I can easily see why men would have an interest in Asian women. Truth or illusion, they have the reputation of being more feminine.
A lot of them don’t need it. It seems it is much more common in the US
A female friend of mine summed it up nicely 25 years ago: When their young they look like DOLLS!

I reckon you can find a psychobi*ch from Hell in almost any culture. Just some cultures and philosophical groupings seem to have a greater incidence than others.
It all boils down to the individual.
The Urban American Liberal Female is a demographic I would avoid, and imho, a case for celibacy if there were no alternatives (Thank God for country girls).
A good deal of generalization there. Some men are insecure, others are not and that has dashed little to do with whether they prefer one type of woman to another. Perhaps men feel more comfortable when allowed to actually be men and not made to feel as though there is something wrong with being unabashedly male?
As for “men don’t like rejection”, are you implying that there is something wrong with having an aversion to rejection? I don’t know many women who enjoy rejection either. Perhaps human beings, in general, tend not to be enamored with rejection.
I say we oil each other up and wrastle.

And yes, Chinese women are a little fiery. Demure? Ha. Be ready for a challenge as they rule in their country.
