Heroes and zeroes and Zots
Posted on 07/12/2014 7:49:29 PM PDT by burgereater
The heroes and zeroes of the presidential elections I've voted in.
Heroes: Reagan, Bush Sr, Dole, Bush Jr, McCain, Romney
Zeroes: Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama
The pattern is obvious! Hoping and praying that it goes republican in 2016. I've not just voted for but campaigned for every hero on the entire list!
TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: elections; obama; ozone; sniff; uniparty; zot

I look forward to seeing liberal republicans destroyed at every chance, either in the primary or in the general election.
You can keep your GOP-E, troll. I'm a conservative, not a republican.

A hero in 2016 will be Cruz/Palin or Cruz/Walker.

The GOP is far better than the democrats on every single issue and I will continue to support the GOP.
You, with your support of a low-life "Republican" who supports both the murder of unborn babies and the Homo-Agenda will be responsible for the death of the GOP as a result.
The GOP will continue its drift to the left, while the Democrats do as well, and pretty soon you will be supporting a party that looks no different from the Democrats of today.
Romney destroyed the MA GOP because of his Progressive Liberal policies. The National GOP is headed to the same destruction because it continues to walk away from conservative principles.
Just remember, a thing less evil, is still evil.
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

Do not insult Rodents. They are better than Dems and RINOs.

When did Ronald Reagan say that? I just wish the R would realize that running as the ‘Dem-lite’ is not a winning strategy. Ted is today’s Reagan IMHO...

The pro-GOP trolls are starting early. They know they have angered the base, and they think it's going to take extra-browbeating to win us over.
I'm not seeing their standard sales technique (abuse, namecalling) as going to work this time.

We’ve suffered through Obama. McCain or Romney or any member of the GOP would have been far better than Obama.
I want Ted Cruz in 2016 but we all have to face reality. We each have one vote in one state. If Christie were to win the primary despite our votes is that reason to let Hillary skate by and become president and have four more years of Obama like policies? NO!

Refraining from voting in the general has helped allow Obama to walk right into the White House. How’s that working out for you?

You’d rather have Obama or Hillary than a Republican then? That’s insane.

Cruz/Palin or Cruz/Walker I would love to have. I will be campaigning for Cruz the moment he enters the race!

It’s one thread.
When McCain and Romney won too many in the GOP stuck their head in the sand because they didn’t get their preferred candidate. The ostrich strategy is a losing strategy.

Get your head out of the sand. The choices were Romney and Obama. Romney is far better than Obama.

Why would it matter when I joined? Everybody has a join date.
What does matter is that I’ve been campaigning for GOP candidates since 1980.

Every GOP presidential candidate has fought against the democrats. Some more effective than others.
