The [San Francisco] Giants are contemplating a new kind of dress code at AT&T Park, one that could keep certain types of politically incorrect gear out of the stadium.
The proposal stems from a brouhaha that arose after a fan, who appeared to be Caucasian, donned a headdress at Native American Heritage Night. The fan was approached by two Native Americans who asked for the headdress and then refused to give it back, according to a report from USA Today.

Native Americans should be banned from wearing our sacred t-shirts and jeans and be required to come in loin cloths.

Gigantism itself is a freak-show kind of condition. I don’t think it’s very sensitive to throw around a word that is horribly offensive to people who have that overactive pituitary syndrome that makes people giants.
“Giant” is just not a very nice word. They need to change the name of the team. And the football Giants should follow suit (by that I mean, lawsuit)

You are forgetting that this was in San Francisco, where such attire is part of the local culture. ;-)
A number of nicknames should be abolished for being offensive. Yankees...oppressors of the South. Red Sox...obviously commies. White Sox...racists. Dodgers...trolley car far avoiders i.e. thieves, Brewers...drunks. Lot’s more important p.c work to do.

Imitation has always been considered “the sincerest form of flattery.”
Somehow it has very recently morphed into “cultural misappropriation and theft.”
I find the name “Giants” to be culturally appropriate. It’s offensive to me that they would single out those that are born taller than the norm to make their name. Something should be done and it needs to be done now. This height insensitively and singling out of genetic traits for a namesake needs to stop!
