A Florida man was arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend's pet rabbit following an argument about women's rights. According to a Boyton Beach Police report, James Wertz became enraged when his girlfriend told him that she wanted to end their relationship after he refused to stop arguing and screaming.
The 28-year-old suspect then allegedly began "punching and squeezing" the woman's pet rabbit, according to Boynton Beach Police media representative Stephanie Slater.
The woman intervened and Wertz apologized, but when she tried to call 911, Wertz physically threw the woman across the room, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The rabbit was beaten so hard that it bled from its face, but it is expected to recover. The woman's arm was a little marked up but she was otherwise uninjured.
Wertz was charged with animal cruelty and domestic battery.
There was a time when the referee would say “no rabbit punches” to the opponents before a fight. Where is Mills Lane when you need him?

I have asked a lot of women that same question, because I just don't get it. The ones that did not like bad guys, said they had no idea why other women wanted them. The ones that did like bad guys, pretty much said exactly what you just said.

Neither article (tv or Palm Beach Post) linked by the UPI article includes any further details of the “women’s rights” argument so I will assume that it is included in the HEADLINE of every news items about this case to hammer home the DNC’s “War on Women” meme and nothing else.
Domestic abuse is not pretty, but police blotters should not become national news.

The headline serves as “Us vs. Them” clickbait.

He is a fool and she knows it and treats him so, that takes the nice guy image away from him.

Zenons pet Hoppy was six years old last year. I didn’t think any of the rodent based animals, such as Guniea Pigs and Hares would live that long. Maybe its because Hoppy is in captivity, safe from mad dogs and crazy men.
