Can someone tell me how to harvest/maintain spinach. I expected the plants to bunch up but they are growing all over.

Cukes are almost 5' tall. Should I let them grow higher or stop them?

Actually getting squash fruit this year. Looking good.

I just pick the oldest leaves first. A few at a time, because I add them to salads or soups, so I don’t need a whole bunch.

I suppose you could pinch off the end to make it bushier and limit the height, but I tend to just let stuff do whatever comes naturally.

Main thing with cukes is to harvest. The plant puts it’s energy into growing the fruit larger, and less into new cukes. Also when cukes get really large, then the seeds are more prominent, and inside gets a bit mushy when I pickle them.
