I have an electric ice cream maker and it also uses salt and ice. However, somehow or other the last time around, I wasn’t able to get the paddles going.
The container was just turning around and around inside the the ice packed around it, but the paddles weren’t doing any stirring on the inside of the container.
The freezer bowl of my ice cream maker still has fluid in it but stopped freezing. Research yielded no significant information. Will try again this year.
