The higher minimum wage had nothing to do with it then?
I see.
The price of beef has been skyrocketing. I admit it’s mostly due to a drought in some beef producing states, but has anyone noticed how much corn, which is also food for cows, we are burning in our cars?
I would like to hear from In-N-Out fans about the quality of their product compared to maybe 10 years ago.
My opinion: not nearly as good now as 10 years ago. I gave them up.
the administration is imposing higher and higher costs of doing business...
and higher taxes....
and more regulations...
result: ... higher prices we all have to pay for goods and services
but rest easy....the administration doesn’t include most food or housing costs in calculating its ‘cost of living index’...
so we aren’t being hurt at all by all the administrations’ anti-business, anti-employment, and higher-tax policies
Don’t worry.Stay happy.
Say it ain’t so!!
A financial newsletter I subscribe to uses the price of a Big Mac to gauge the rate of inflation b/c so many things are involved— price of lettuce, sesame seeds, meat, pickles, etc., transportation costs, cost of labor, overhead.
Editor says it’s more telling than anything the fedgov puts out...
I can no longer afford fish because it’s so expensive. Beef is wildly expensive, even chicken is getting up there. Where will it all end?
Don't know if it's still there. They had a burger called the Garbage Can. It was interestingly good.
Burger King had an option on nearby land. They had to give it up.
