Didn’t get interested in NASCAR until after Sr. died so I’m not familiar with this Chevy car. Impala? Anyway are those air vents below the headlite decals for the brakes and the engine middle top and bottom??

Left/Right are brake cooling duct inlets. Those are huge because it is a Road Course setup. Center is for radiator again huge for Road Course. Back then the 2 would be just like now- Sonoma/Watkins

LOL! You’re welcome. I worked for a guy that said: “if you don’t learn something every day then you didn’t get your a$$ outta bed”
It’s not looking good for Daytona, got a Tropical Storm forming off the FL coast.
We may have Raintona Summer Edition...

Goodyear has enough problems making tires for the cup cars on a dry track. I’d hate to see them start making rain tires.
I’m feeling a bit grouchy today. Contractor issues. A four day project (and mess) has turned into 2 weeks.

LOL! they do make them for Busch cars on Road Course, I've never heard of or seen a Cup Rain though. What we need is a Track Cover to keep the rain off the track.
I'll up Your contractor woes with ChampVa/Mediscare/Meds by Mail and Ins. Co phone circle jerk that's been going on since yesterday when I tried to order refills for GMa.
I now have Our House Reps office involved and am waiting to hear back from Our Senators office.
Since yesterday I've talked to 7 different phone #’s and about 12 different people and toss in 3 Faxes to the “Double Secret Probation Special Expedition” fax machine number.
I have doubled up on my BP meds.

Indoor racing. That’d be fun. What’d you say??
The way things are going I’m going to need some of your BP meds; don’t get me started on VA/Health Insurance/run-arounds as this is a family thread speaking of which I guess the US is still at 0-0 w/Belgium.

The center of Tropical Storm Arthur remains offshore the Treasure Coast late this afternoon and continues to show little movement. Rainbands rotating around Arthur will continue to push onshore through this evening. The squalls will be moving very quickly but brief torrential downpours will occur along with wind gusts to around 40 mph and occasional lightning strikes. There is a chance for more persistent rainfall to develop between Lake Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast...so some localized flooding may occur there. The squalls over the interior will tend to diminish with sunset and there should be an increase squalls over the Atlantic which should push onshore portions of the coast. Additional details...including graphics are available online at: http://www.Srh.NOAA.Gov/mlb/blog.Php
