The center of Tropical Storm Arthur remains offshore the Treasure Coast late this afternoon and continues to show little movement. Rainbands rotating around Arthur will continue to push onshore through this evening. The squalls will be moving very quickly but brief torrential downpours will occur along with wind gusts to around 40 mph and occasional lightning strikes. There is a chance for more persistent rainfall to develop between Lake Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast...so some localized flooding may occur there. The squalls over the interior will tend to diminish with sunset and there should be an increase squalls over the Atlantic which should push onshore portions of the coast.
