What signal would one consider being the best signal to consider it being "Go Time" in terms of knowing that government has fully set it's sights on the heart and sould of the Republic?
I have been considering this as of late as it seems in the last few months especially that it seems like scandals are becomming so common that it istart to drown out everything like a loud roaring waterfall or a prolonged fever.
Personally my "Go signal" will be when we start hearing deafening silence from one conservative talk show host after another as they are either being openly arrested or they are being shut down due to dubious reasons by the FCC.
I will read this as the SOAP box being yanked out from under people. I am in no condition to start any sort of "revolt" but this will signal me to start some of my own plans that involve openly defying their ban on my god given 1st amendment rights.
The other "Go Signal" I recognize will be a house to house gun confiscation by local/state/federal governments.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, I blew it off as another failure of the Kennedy admin until I heard the first strains of a military march, followed by others. That's when I puckered up, went home, loaded the Springfield and waited.
After an hour I felt like an idiot and went back to the shop. (I was self-employed then.)
Funny thing. I did the same when I heard that Kennedy was assassinated. Thought it was some right wing whacko attempt to take over the govt and that LBJ would call up the militia.
I was just out getting my practice today. “Tuning up for deer season, eh?” “Does that target look like a deer to you?”
WOW! I wasn't alive then, so I have to just imagine what those days were like. Thanks for the glimpse! I'd stand with you, though.

It’s not about what limits finally reached make you decide you’ve had enough here and wish to go to other places where there isn’t even a promise of liberty and justice for all.
It’s about when to regroup and decide how to restart the United States of America. I know the founders EXPECTED that we’d have to resort to violence again as they did to reclaim our Gd given rights. They had just witnessed it,and their lives were much more violent than ours. Yes. Each of them witnessed far more shootings than any of us personally (exception of course military and some cops).
But today, in 2014, violence probably wouldn’t get anyone very far. Enough people believe the government is still the US of A and thus they still have all the military and counter-revolutionary power, including the simple task of seeing what their enemies are up to and putting stops to it, which seems to be going on already, no?
The only thing we have on our side is truth and a lot of good people, most of whom are wholly uninformed. One of the greatest ways to inform people is pop culture. If I were Queen of the Constitution, I’d recruit talented left winger movie people to see the light but to keep quiet about it, and have them produce good and entertaining films about the Revolutionary times with subtle yet clearly visible parallels to our lack of freedoms today. I’d want to inform everyday Americans about the gift they were given by being Americans. And what people had to do to get it.
Then I’d recruit people in the talk show or comedic areas and have them subtly not just mock “evil racist bigoted” Republicans but to add the insanity and folly of the left to their repertoire. Have interviews where hard balls are thrown. Laugh more at hypocrites.
We are close to that point in many ways, if you just read twitter or comments in major mainstream online articles. Plenty of quiet people are getting their comments out and they DO ACTUALLY SEE what Obama is doing.
I think we need to go hearts and minds here, not violence. I wish the American people could all fit in a stadium and hear the cheerleaders’ chant: “DO WE WANT TO BE JUST ANOTHER CORRUPT COUNTRY LIKE ALL THE REST???? OR ARE WE BETTER THAN THAT????? ARE WE OUR CONSTITUTION???? ARE WE THE US OF A????? YES WE ARE!!!!”
Maybe we can. There is this here Interwebs net thingy. Maybe we can. Si se maybe?

We’re well past the time when every sensible person should be prepared for an unpleasant event. By “prepared”, I don’t just mean equipped. I mean equipped, fit, trained, with an abundance of supplies limited only by budget, and psychologically ready for unpleasantness. For those who can afford it, I recommend the LDS advice on storing a year’s supply of food.
For those who see firearms as part of the mix (if needed to defend the Constitution of the United States) and who can afford it, I recommend buying both an air rifle and an air pistol (quiet is better) and practicing at home daily (back yard or basement depending on local details) with both weapons, even if it’s only ten minutes a day of shooting. It’s not quite the same as firearms, but it’s still fun, convenient, and useful training that builds some of the same skills for less than the cost of ammo. When “go” time arrives, it will be too late to work on firearms proficiency.
We are not going to restart the American experiment.
