Former President George W. Bush has successfully had a partial knee replacement in Chicago.
Bush spokesman Freddy Ford says Bush had the procedure Saturday and returned home to Dallas Monday. Ford said in an email Tuesday that Bush was doing great and was able to get up, walk around, and go up and down stairs just a couple (of) hours after the procedure.

Partial?
Now, if they could give Boehner a full spine transplant...
I call BS.
The better hospitals and Drs are in Texas.
Someone kneecapped him when he was "secretly invited for a talk" that he (foolishly and stupidly) accepted

Never mind...I looked it up. Never heard of it though...until now.
His taxpayer provided health care plan probably made him go to Chi to find an in-program provider.
(just kidding, nothing is too good for our Federal rulers)
Yeah...kinda odd...he’d go to Cheating Town..to get his knee worked on.
Every time I saw him running with the Secret Service guys I knew there was going to be a knee problem down the road somewhere and there it is.
Exercise is bad for ya. Those of us who sit and type will avoid those procedures. I’m telling ya. Don’t go outside! the sun’s a beotch and fresh air is highly over-rated. Order your pizza online and only walk the dog after sundown.
Yes, they give those to Moderates.
There are good doctors all over the country. Problem is, is to find the ones who will do whatever without having the livin hell sued out of them.
Wife just had a hip replacement done last year at Henry Ford. They were the only ones who would do it. They had to modify the joint to make it work for her. She had gone to so many places the list was as long as my arm. Lots of them top notch places.
Running long distances can wreak havoc on the knees. Depends on the individual. I keep my running under 5k, and prefer more high intensity type of running anyways.
You are right. Jogging is the single worst thing for your joints. I ran track 4 years in HS and have had two bad knees ever since. I don’t even play tennis anymore.
Me too. I ran 5 miles every other day on an indoor, carpeted track, and my knees are shot.
My dog walks me miles a day, and I often do some walking beyond that. I’ve never been in better shape. For me anyway, at least three miles of walking a day in shoes that are perfect for my feet has me in the best shape I’ve ever been in....and it seems to have strengthend my knees.
I wonder how long he had to wait for an appointment.
HAHAHA!!!!
And.....this is why I stopped running in my late 20s. I used to run 7 miles every other day. Now I bike & walk to keep fit.
