We have a very small area of yellow over us on the radar now, but Houston is about to get clobbered.
It is actually raining pretty good now, along with a few boomers. We will see what the rain gauge says later.

It has rained bucket after bucket here so I went out to check the old rain gauge that is sitting on the table out there and it had fallen over so I don’t know how much rain I got. I still have rain gauge issues and I’m madder than hell and not going to take it any more! That means, I have to get another rain gauge, need to see if Lowes has gotten them in.
I got the packets of two new types of lettuce that are supposed to love hot weather. One is Bronze Mignonette and the other is Little Gem. This rain is supposed to keep on for days but if there is a decent break, I’ll get this seed planted.
When I went out, there was one ripe blackberry so I picked it and have eaten it and it tastes like a fairly sweet blackberry, imagine that.
