A startling video has emerged showing Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson unleashing another homophobic rant - just months after the TV show's network suspended him for a similar tirade. Robertson was filmed giving an Easter Sunday sermon at Whites Ferry Road Church in his hometown of West Monroe, Louisiana on April 20, according to the video on YouTube. In the footage, the 68-year-old expresses his anger at the outcry over his December interview in GQ magazine, in which he likened homosexuality to bestiality and branded gay people sinners. 'They were mad at me,' he tells the congregation in the video. 'You say, "why'd they get mad at you?" Cuz instead of acknowledging their sin, like you had better do, they railed against me for giving them the truth about their sins. Don't deceive yourselves.'

Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner
I’ve decided I like “homonausea”. If you come up with a better one please PM me.
I certainly don’t fear homosexuals. My neighbors are two homosexual guys, and they’re nice guys. Helpful, polite neighbors. I neither fear them nor do they make me sick.
But they don’t kiss each other in public, don’t engage in sexual or any other touching I’ve seen, and don’t stick it in my face figuratively and certainly don’t flaunt.
It’s easy to treat them as pleasant good neighbors because I don’t have to think about their other activities - or “approve” or “celebrate” them.
Oh, he did not, you bloody fairies.
I wonder. But then, I don’t really, knowing how it all turns out in the end.
And I’m an OT guy. My only beef with Phil is Paul. Other than that, we’re essentially on the same page.
Yes..it is truthphobic...not homophobic. They are projecting their own fear and rage.
There are few who sin who are not sensitive about the truth: the more obnoxious the sin, the more sensitive they seem to be.
...Phil in the pulpit ping....
(well, not technically, but inspiring nonetheless)
That’s an interesting concept. No kidding. A life without perversion and sin? Though haven’t we heard that one before? As in Adam and Eve?
The most hateful thing you can do when someone is running toward a cliff is to “approve” of their choice of direction.
God bless him. I wish more Christians were not afraid to speak out about the sin and evil of sodomy.
Great article.
Critics are once again raging over Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertsons newfound comments about homosexuality, with some accusing the reality show star of unleashing another homophobic rant during an Easter sermon he delivered last month.
Robertsons latest comments were made April 20, 2014, at Whites Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, though his statements took nearly a month to gain mainstream attention.
In the video, the 68-year-old can be seen speaking to parishioners for more than 40 minutes about the Christian faith, while also poking fun at the media and specifically addressing the controversy that broke out in December following his controversial interview with GQ magazine.
Rather than backing away from his past comments about homosexuality and sin, Robertson doubled down.
They were mad at me. because instead of acknowledging their sin like you had better do, they railed against me for giving them the truth about their sin, he said of those angry about his past comments. Dont deceive yourself you want the verse? The news media didnt even know it was a verse. They thought I was just mouthing off.
Robertson went on to further explain his interview with the GQ reporter, paraphrasing the Bible verse that first landed him in hot water. He said that the reporter asked him if he believes homosexual behavior is a sin.
Then, he told the congregation how he responded.
I said, Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Dont be deceived. Neither the sexual immoral, nor the idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy, nor druggards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherent the kingdom of God, Robertson recounted, reciting Pauls remarks in 1 Corinthians 6:9.
The reality star said that he gave the reporter the biblical list, then delivered the good news that Paul, among others, were once offenders of many of the sins mentioned in the verse, but that God changed them.
Weve all been there, Robertson said, admitting he himself in his past life would have fallen under the biblical list. The reason were here today is to remind you of the gospel that was preached.
Watch these comments below around the 8:30 mark:
Today I read homophobia is being afraid of being attacked for being against homosexuality.,I hope it becomes the second definition.
IOW, normal people.
